Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Beth R101 contributionsWhat a fun way to explore the city and discover history! We'd do it again in another city and highly recommend. We liked the challenges. It was walkable allowing us to see so many charming places we'd have missed otherwise.Written 28 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Angelina FChicago, IL2 contributionsLoved this! We did a hunt in downtown Chicago for a team work event. There were SOO many ways to score points and wander around the city. Our group loved it. The planning process was so smooth. I booked rather last minute and Chris helped ensure we were ready to go right on time. We had a group of about twenty and split into three teams. Pricing was very reasonable and we received access to all pictures and videos the following morningWritten 14 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SCL88886 contributionsWe had a company outing with Watson Adventures in the Art Institute in Chicago. Three teams of 5 people and 90 minutes to walk through the museum while working together to get the answers to the hunt completed. And the questions were not so simple--required some thought, some creativity and some teamwork, which made for a great outing. I had a ton of fun! Our host from Watson was fun and friendly.Written 25 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- ish824Portland, OR19 contributionsThe Garfield Park Let's Roam scavenger hunt is advertised as having two or so miles of walking with eight stops in the Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago. The first five stops had us walking up and down the same street and taking pictures of, and answering questions about, the old Sears & Roebuck merchandising building. We assumed it was a glitch and called customer support. A real live person answered and tried to help us. They could not, so we requested a refund. Yet to see it come through. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HUNT.Written 14 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
