Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Millennium Park in Chicago is a must-visit! The iconic Cloud Gate (aka “The Bean”) is even more impressive in person, reflecting the city’s skyline in a cool, surreal way. The park itself is spacious, with beautiful green areas, stunning art installations, and a great vibe. I loved walking around the Crown Fountain, watching the video projections and water spray. It’s a perfect spot to relax or snap some great photos. Definitely a highlight of Chicago!

Wonderful to walk the mile from the John Hancock building to Millennium Park to check out “The Bean”. We checked out various stores along the way and enjoyed the holiday lights. Parking was easy as we prepaid (so you save money!) at One Millennium Mile Parking at 120 E. Walton St. Super Efficient!

We had done the skydeck as well a couple of days before. The 360 has great views, just from a different point in the sky. The advantage here was being able to see in all directions.
And then you can have a go on the tilt, great fun

A lot better in real life than on pictures. Quite surprised at the size. Intersing to find out about the British designer too. Well worth stopping here for a hour.

As expected, full of tourists (like us). However, it was great fun. We popped on and off a few times as we had boat rides from here.
We also rode a couple of rides, the wheel was worth it.

Amazing that such beauty and history are free for the observer. We enjoyed our walk through the building to see the treasures.

A beautiful fountain with a backdrop of the buildings in Chicago on one side and the lake on the other. A charming area for a lunch break or to take a break and just take in the scene.

This is an excellent time to visit Cathedrals, as the summer weather often allows for more comfortable exploration and photography. A perfect time to appreciate their architectural beauty and historical significance.

A huge radius encompassing everything. From shops , restaurants, convenience stores , hotels , theaters , historical buildings. Seeing an upward train , it reminds you of typical downtown. Be wary however of occasional sketchy situations at certain areas specifically at night time .

The Chicago skyline is stunning. With most of the city located by the lake, take a walk there and take in absolutely spectacular views, set to what feels like Caribbean blue water.

We stopped at this building on our way to the train station and spent about 10 minutes in the building. The interior is indeed pretty and worth taking a look. Plus, it’s free to enter the building and talk around on the 1st floor and 2nd floor where businesses are located.

Worth a visit for a meal in the Walnut Room and a peek at the Tiffany ceiling. No contemporary store offers this type of classic grandeur.
