Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wicker Park, by any standard, is one of the fastest rising and most enterprising of Chicago's neighborhoods. And the central hub of Wicker Park is the Flat Iron Arts Building. Located at 1579 North Milwaukee Avenue, at the busy intersection of Milwaukee, North Avenue and Damen Avenue, it was built in 1918 as an office building but was converted in the late 1960s to an all artist studio building, an artists colony that features visual art, musicians of all disciplines, tattoo shops, costume design, film-makers and other genres of art. It also is host to arts festivals, performances and open studio events. With its distinctive white and black terra cotta surface, it is the dominant feature of Wicker Park's main crossroads. And its rooftop deck offers visitors a splendid view of Chicago's skyline. If that isn't enough, every first Friday of the month artists open their studio doors to the pubic and the building is transformed into one big party scene.

Found this little boutique from the guidance of my city-dwelling niece. What a gem! Great unique fashionable finds that were all in my budget! The staff was great as well - helpful and friendly without being overbearing.

One of the things I like to do in a new city is pay attention to people I see walking around, and ask the people who seem to have good taste and creative lives where they think I would enjoy visiting. Four separate people sent me to Asrai Garden, saying it was the highlight of all the shops in the very cool Wicker Park shopping area. I bought a carved brass fingernail here -- a thing I didn't even know existed until I walked in, but once I saw it, it seemed like the sort of thing I didn't want to go another minute without. The shop is full of interesting jewelry, artfully arranged flowers, and a cool, approachable local feeling. I will definitely visit this spot every time I go to Chicago.

Worth a stop if you are out and about on Milwaukee Ave. Lots of vinyl to look at. There are a couple of bargain bins near the entrance. They ar3 easy to miss, so be sure to take a look. At $2 or $3, many from the 70s and 80s in the bargain bins.

They scammed us with RAFFLE. See screenshot. See seller's texts in black agreeing to the sale and payment instructions. The next day the seller deleted his portion of texts so you see just my texts in white. Don't give them your hard earned $!
