Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our favorite orchard in Ellijay for taste and quality! Great people. Especially love the flower picking in the fall! And of course the apples and other fruits and vegetables!

My family and friends stayed in Elijay, GA for a week during our spring break. We live in Florida and wanted an escape to the mountains. The 6 adults and 5 kiddos explored waterfalls, hikes, vineyards, farms, shops, restaurants, and many other places in Elijay, Blue Ridge, and some surrounding cities. But none compared to the experience we had at Cress Creeks Farm! We first pulled up to the gorgeous scenery and landscape. We were first greeted by 3 VERY friendly sheep and 2 awesome turkeys. Their farm store was absolutely adorable and esthetically pleasing. We were able to purchase food for the sheep. All the adults and children got to pet and handfeed them. We met Lee (the owner) who asked if we wanted to drive down to the wide open land and see 2 twin baby lambs that had just been born the day before. This was like asking our kiddos if they wanted to take home a million dollars! Lee allowed all of us to hold the babies. It seriously made our entire trip. Before we left, we popped back into the store and bought meat and a few souvenirs. We cannot thank Lee's family enough for taking the time to go the extra mile and make our trip so memorable. We cannot wait to go back up during the fall for their incredible corn maze!! All 11 of us agreed it was by far the best part of our trip!

Very spacious inside with lots to see and browse. It’s set up like an antique mall inside with many separate booths. There is a mix of old and new and a range of prices. Enjoyed seeing many unique and interesting items and it was worth a stop to visit.

Great way to spend a Saturday morning! All of the vendors were so nice and friendly. My daughter had a blast sampling all the baked goods and teas. Bought some lovely rocks and gems for my
Kids, a gorgeous necklace for my self and probably the best pickled Okra I have ever eaten!

Nice and quaint. Really enjoyed the show and laid-back atmosphere. We do plan on going back and seeing other events. Two candys and 2 drinks for $7, you can't beat that.

My dad loved going up to Ellijay for apples every chance he got! He ate apples every day. He would buy apples to keep and have a huge Tupperware container on the porch- every time someone came by they left with at least one bag of apples!
Plus he would get the culls to throw out to feed the deer. He has been gone 19 years now. I continued to take my mom; the last time she went they remembered us- which tickled her to no end! She passed away last year NOT from Covid, she was just shy of 92 and ready to go home to heaven.
So it’s an annual pilgrimage to me to go up to Mack Aaron’s for FRIED PIES ….and apples!
They are very friendly folks. 😸
It isn’t touristy like many of the other places that you would want to take kids to, so it’s not as crowded!
It IS a great place to get in, out & back on the road!
They also have lots of great things to buy for Christmas presents as well!
    BEST BOILED PEANUTS 🥜
    & FRESH APPLE 🍎 CIDER 😋
I never go during the Apple Festival-the bucolic drive is a part of the experience; I don’t like spending it in traffic.

This was by far our favorite antique store. The prices were surprisingly reasonable compared to other stores! We bought 3 treasures. The woman working there was very nice to talk to and was very friendly! The store is on the River with a beautiful view!

Interesting place, they have lots of neat stuff... wife took me, though it would be boring, but was pleasantly surprised. They have a guy stuff section with some pretty cool knives and tools and manly types of old stuff. It's hard to explain, you just have to go check it out for yourself. Also the staff are friendly and helpful, Will definitely revisit.

Visited yesterday with my teenage daughter and met the two sweet ladies at the counter. They were very helpful and we purchased 2 different scented bath bombs, 4 total. The oatmeal vanilla bath was so luxurious but not so much that I felt greasy afterwards. I can’t wait to try the honeysuckle bath bomb we purchased!

The only fried pie I've ever eaten that I actually liked! Apple pieces were still crisp, and the crust was light and flaky. There was more filling than crust, which is the big thing for me. I also bought a couple jars of jam for only $6 each. There was also honey for $6, and I wish I would have bought some (excellent price!)

This was the first professinal massage my boyfriend and I ever experienced and it was a 10/10 hands down. Jared and Lyric really knew the meaning of taking your stresses away, and were very professinal! We will be back!

We have found lamps, pictures and wall art here that are uniquely different than what is frequently found in a "second hand store". The owners add to the fun!

A great place to stop. Not as big as some but still good. Friendly staff and delicious fried pies all year round. You can also get your 2022 Farm Passport stamped here. If you don't have one, pick up a free Farm Passport here or your local Georgia Farm Bureau.
