A few years ago I read the book "Clara and Mr. Tiffany". This story introduced me to the story of developing Tiffany glass and the beautiful designs created by the Tiffany Company. This February were fortunate to visit Winter Park, FL and have the entire day to visit this wonderful museum.
Once you have the ticket you can come and go through out the day. We took a break at lunch and drove around Winter Park a bit before returning to finish our visit. The exhibits are really worth a visit. There's also information about the people that rescued pieces from the home in New York and helped create this lovely Museum. The guides there are very helpful and if they couldn't answer our questions they took the time to look things up for us.

Magical and unusual. It reminded us of scenes you would expect in a movie like Lord of the Rings. Very large trees with interesting shapes. The park only takes about 30 min to walk through.

We were more than impressed at the grounds, the history and the extreme talent of the sculptor. We had a wonderful informative tour. The staff and volunteers really enjoy their job. Strolling around the beautiful grounds was a delightful way to spend the morning.

We went at night, thinking that it would be less busy, but there were still quite a few people out. It was still nice, because we were able to see some of the sculptures and the fountain in the middle of the lake lit up. The only thing I wish we were able to take pictures of was the Muse of Discovery. I highly suggest visiting this area and walking around the lake.

We walked through the college on our way to the Rollins Museum of Art. It is a pretty campus with interesting architecture. We even found Carnegie Hall there!

It was a bit difficult to navigate around the park. For a free park it is nice. Some beautiful flowers and plants. We took about an hour to walk through.

The Rollins Museum of Art is a small but nice art museum on the campus of Rollins College. There is a limited number of parking spaces by the museum, or one make park in town and walk over. The walk through the campus from the Park Avenue area is very nice. When in the Winter Park area it is worth a stop to see the museum's collection.

We had never been to Winter Park before - and it won’t be the last. It is quite an impressive small town. I appreciated the architecture, historic area, restaurants and museums. A lovely spot.

I've spent many years boating on this clean smooth lake. It's full of alligators, so I will not swim in it. Cruise around and see all of the mansions and Rollins College. You can picnic at Dinky Dock to enjoy the lake from the shore. People do swim there.

Short trip to a lovely neighborhood and around the outside of a beautiful Spanish home. Older furniture, but only 1 piece from the original. Can't believe they moved this house in one piece from 1 location to another because it's so well preserved.

It was our first time at the park today! We went around 1pm on a Friday and surprisingly it wasn’t too busy. Even my small dog was able to enjoy the big dog section. If you have a dog this park is a must go! So beautiful and plenty of space for dogs to rome free.

Nice little out of the way corner of Winter park with some good restaurants and outdoor tables to sit and people watch while sipping on a glass of wine!
