This has to be one of the most superior botanical gardens in the Southern United States. I went with my family in early January when the Christmas decorations were still up and towards closing, the Garden lit up some of the exotic trees. Bigger than I thought, I'm glad I didn't miss this opportunity to explore this tropical paradise. So much to photograph and admire, blooming water plants, and trees and flowers from all over the world. I walked the entire path around Lake Tupke, attracting a large variety of wading birds and also providing good views of ospreys and egrets. Not to be missed is the White Birding Tower which provided extensive wildlife habitat. This garden is not to be missed while you are in the Naples area. Before you exit, make sure you see some magnificent orchids, which was one of my favorite sights here. In the giftshop I was a little surprised that no brochure or book was available on the Botanical Gardens. Just a minor point and well worth the price of admission.

Although we had come to the Sanctuary a few years back; this recent visit totally changed our opinion.

It is a large and beautiful property with a fairly long boardwalk. But on our first visit; we were walking quickly and saw very few birds.

The most recent exploration was an entirely different experience. We deliberated on the walk, stopping frequently and allowing sufficient time to do the whole walk.

We saw and were able to get decent photographs of a wide variety of birds fairly close up. We were so happy with the outing that we became members. Despite our living an hour away; our intention is to return here with great regularity.

The pier is still closed after hurricane Ian, which totally destroyed it. TV news says rebuilding will start in 2026. This was a great destination prior to the hurricane.

Beautiful beach. Restrooms and snack bar are available. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent. Parking is $5 per hour. There are a few picnic tables. There's a volleyball court.

The beach is wide, beautiful sand, shells, gentle waves, sunsets are amazing. It is my favorite beach in the Naples area.

The town has done a great job cleaning up after Hurricane Ian.

Downtown 5th Avenue in Naples is a vibrant destination for daytime or evening enjoyment. The avenue boasts an array of shops, boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants and cafes. Visitors can also find accommodations at the Inn on Fifth, as well as the renowned Gulfshore Playhouse. The lively street is beautifully lit and decorated during holidays, making it a must-see attraction for those visiting Naples, Florida.

I am not really a car person, but I was fascinated by so many aspects of this museum. The museum features an amazing collection of cars, engines, and memorabilia related to the history and development of cars. The space is well laid out and does a great job of highlighting each individual car and of presenting information in a well-organized manner, based on types of cars, historical development, car manufacturers, people who were pioneers in the industry, the challenges faced by those pioneers, and the role that cars have played in our cultures.

Equally important was the staff. From the front desk employees to the people who were abundantly present in the exhibit spaces, we were surrounded by helpful, knowledgable, cheerful people who were clearly committed to communicating their understanding of the contents of their exhibits. The overall desire of the museum staff to make connections with its visitors was astounding.

My immediate family and I have visited close family in Naples for many, many years and did not know of Revs until this year. Please don't make the mistake of missing out on this opportunity! When you are in Naples, dedicate 1-2 hours to visit this gem of a museum!

Boarded walk way to get there and they have a golf cart that goes back said forth for free.. great stroll through the mangroves though. Amazing food right on the beach. Nothing like drinking a Mojito on the beach. Food is a bit pricey but nothing unexpected. Family friendly. Go, you won’t regret it.

This is a cute little zoo. We did the whole thing in an hour and a half. The price is a little high for being so small. We enjoyed it, but it’s very small.

This beautiful, historic cottage from the pioneering days of Naples ;is an authentic step back into a much simpler time, when the only way to this beautiful part of SW Florida was by boat. Our tour guide Bonnie provided us with so many facts from the meaning of "Cracker Architecture" and "Tabby concrete" to the tradition of hoisting a flag to signal to your neighbours to drop by for a cocktail. A very worthwhile outing.

It’s a beautiful place for some beach fun, but it needs a lot of work right now (November 2024) to recover from the recent storms. Currently lots of big sand piles to be spread and the parking lot is closed.

My wife planned an outing with myself and our four guests. A younger family with whose girls are 11 and 9.
Upon arrival and sign in, we had time to spend with some volunteers who had some parrots that you could hold. Each of the girls got a great experience to do that as well as petting the Emu that was roaming around the property. We started the tours a little late because the group was quite large. Our host was the owner. She did a good job trying to communicate with everyone with a loud speaker. Once in the sanctuary, the group kind of broke up and we began the experience of going from area to area to see the parrots. It was a great day and educational.
Just a note…there have been a couple of negative reviews. This is a non profit sanctuary using volunteers who are passionate about what they do. They work off donations. There aren’t too many places where you can get this form of experience. Please remember to donate.
Thank you Keriellen for the great day.
