Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place was absolutely awesome! We can't even express how great of a time we had over the weekend. It's neatly tucked away on the boarder of Eatonville and Maitland. There's free parking across the street and the place looks more like an old pre-k school or small library, than a bird rehab, sanctuary, educational and exhibit center.

There were so many beautiful raptors and other birds at this wonderful place. Two of the young ladies who work there were gracious enough to put together an impromptu private meet and greet with one of their resident Great Horned Owls, named Henry! It was literally on my lady's bucket list so she was truly swept with emotions! What a truly life changing experience. Although small in size, this place is truly wonderful. Please go support!

Lake Lily Park is home to the Maitland Farmer's Market every Sunday, and it's a great market! Lots to see and buy, great scenery. They have coffee, honey, plants, etc. Lots of fun and I would definitely recommend :)

Although it is better known for being a venue for weddings, the truth is that as a museum and historical place, it is wonderful. It has a select and interesting collection of art.

It is divided into two areas, part of it can be visited for free, the other has an admission cost of $6 dollars, $5 for seniors and children (5-17) but if you are a student (UCF, Valencia, Seminole), military or veteran it is free.

The staff is very friendly and willing to provide you with the information you need. A place that is totally worth visiting.

Highly recommend taking at least 3 hours to enjoy this memorial. Advertised as 1-2 but we did not get sufficient time to see all with 2 hours before closing. Main room has many exhibits which I would have liked to have more light to read. Ann Frank virtual reality should not be missed. You will need to hold the glasses up with one hand to hold steady to keep from blurring. Other hand is used to move thru the exit with controller. We missed the last two rooms as ran out of time. Would like to go back when we are in the area again. Very different experience from Holocaust museum in D.C.

Maitland Community Park is a great place to go and walk the trail and experience nature at its finest. This park offers rooms that can be rented out for meetings or parties. You can also take in a class or two offered by the City. One can also teach a class if you are certified to do so. They have covered picnic tables with benches and grills to do your outdoor cooking.

We attended the wedding of a long-time friend here, and it was so lovely! The ceremony was held just outside the main entrance, with an arbor and a beautiful view of Lake Lily in the background (an ideal place for the photos!) The reception was held indoors in a spacious facility, and the wedding party had use of the cute vintage cottage for preparation, just a short but scenic walk to the ceremony. Perfect!

Have some super incredible drinks, see some weird movies you never heard of but, it's awesome. Could be the worst movie ever, you'll love it, drinks are that good. Awesome place. Love this place and my wife does too. Perfect for a date. Movies are pretty good normally. Food is going to be better than you expected. Mention this and get 19% off, just kidding. But seriously, it's awesome unless you're really boring and in that case I'm sorry.
