- Wanderer46231536068Charleston, WV11 contributionsGood trip. Very long ride but it is what it is. Air conditioner was either on high or off. I’d bring a blanket or light throw. Seats were a little worn and uncomfortable. Narration was good and bilingual. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Key West was beautiful. We did the hop on and hop off trolley tour which was great and very informative. I would recommend this trip. We had lunch at Sloppy Joes and it was delicious. Their Key Lime pie was excellent. There are lots of great places to eat. It was a nice relaxing sail. The only negative I could add is that I prefer to drink margaritas & there was an up charge for it. The driver Ian was a conch ( someone born and raised in key west) he was great!! He talked about key west and the history , fun story’s , and great info!!
We stayed on whole ride but you can jump off and on if you want. Make sure to go to correct spot to get ticket. And they have very cool little book that have all the stops in it with history and pics. Ask for one it comes with ticket. And a map of key west in back of book. Very useful !
This is a great thing not to be missed !! The wines were varied and tasty. The snacks delicious.
