Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to see a Broadway Play in Broward County. Nice theater, stage smaller than Broadway so dancers unable to really move

    3/11/2024- Dave Mason Concert-
It's been 20 years since I last visited The Parker. ( Due to moving out of State) I was excited to return to see Dave Mason ..(As a widow traveling alone I felt safe and comfortable)
First of all I applaud management! 5 Stars for a warm and welcoming experience and atmosphere! From the ease of security to the attentive staff, amazing bartenders, knowledgeable volunteer ushers and managers- all set the tone for a memorable and exciting musical experience!
The venue is absolutely breathtaking! A true throwback to classical concert halls but with all the modern conveniences! The renovations are on point!
I upgraded my experience to "The Place to Be " lounge! I highly recommend this upgrade no matter what the cost! Amazing!! The lovely Ladies that greet you and scan your ticket are informative and welcoming. A wrist band is placed on your wrist and you are able to enjoy the lounge for one hour before the performance and during intermission!
The lounge is down 6 steps and has private restrooms. Relaxing colors and comfy seating sets the stage for a wonderful VIP experience!
A small but delicious cold and hot buffet is available.. our choices were: individual shrimp cocktail, crudités, cheese and cracker display,Swedish meatballs, cheesy flatbread, couscous! A dessert buffet, coffee, a variety of cookies, the makings of s'mores.. including a delicious shortbread/chocolate scones!
Then there is a full bar with our amazing bartender, Scott! He suggested an Amaretto sour! Let me try a small taste and if I didn't like it he would make me a different drink! I loved it! I've never had one before but love amaretto! He was personable and very accommodating! Everything was delicious and the hot plates were constantly being refreshed! The young lady attending the buffet was also friendly, attentive and professional! Totally a great value for a very VIP experience!
The lobby and foyers are beautiful and easy to navigate! Signage is clear! You know exactly where you need to enter the Theatre.. Seating is continuous, no break or center aisle. The seats are comfortable but very small. The acoustics are excellent and truly not a bad seat in the house. The foyer has a giant screen tv and great speakers so you won't miss a minute if you have to leave to use the restroom. The entire experience was wonderful! (Dave Mason was amazing! His voice is on point! Unbelievable! Sounds like he did in the 70's at The Lonestar Cafe in NYC! I've seen him over 60 times in 5 different States! since the 70's! Truly my number one favorite of all time!) The ushers are friendly, professional and knowledgeable! If they are all volunteers you have trained them well!
Congratulations and thank you for creating a spectacular venue with a 5 Star Experience! I look forward to returning!

We love, Coral Ridge presbyterian church, and Pastor Rob. We buried our son yesterday, and Coral Ridge went out of their way to make everything as painless as possible. And they helped us greatly in this very difficult time.

Andrews Living Arts has been around 5 years in the Fat Village in a small space on Nw 5th St a block west of Andrews Avenue. They combine performances of successful plays, and do youth and adult theatre education. They do a good job with the resources they have, and always challenge their audiences to embrace the Theatre of Imagination. And they really do have the best popcorn in town, and various snacks and beverages, which support their education programs. Give them a try.

Venue itself for seeing live performances is ok. Sound is good. It can be hard to find a place for a good view. The bartender was very friendly service was good but I opened up a tab and was in complete shock when I closed it. I have NEVER paid so much for a drink in bar. We were drinking Jack Daniels and Tito's which both garnered a premium up charge. Ordered doubles but $25 each? Wow!

My annual visit to see the Encore dance studio perform - another fantastic show although sound was too loud IMHO. Amazing kids performing from about 4 years old through Seniors. Great dance and super costumes. Lovely that we didn’t have to pay for parking and seats very comfortable.

Last night we attended a concert by vocal group Seraphic Fire, a troupe consisting of professional singers of a very high quality. They are based in South Florida, so they often perform in this area. We've been interested in seeing them for years, and we finally got to see them at the Bienes Center. A wonderful performance by a group that consists of about twelve or so singers of soloist quality. We'd never been to the Bienes Center, which is located at St Thomas Aquinas High School, just a block north of Davie Blvd and about 1/4 mile west of I-95. The parking lot is next to the Bienes on 12th Street, and for this show the cost was $4. From the parking lot it's a short walk east to the theater lobby, and a wheelchair is no problem. The lobby is pretty large, with some seats, restrooms, and a small bar with drinks and snacks. They do allow you to bring drinks into the theater. The theater seats a bit more than 300, and there are no bad seats, visually or sonically. For this show, it was first come sit anywhere seating. We sat about a third of the way up, and were at eye level to the performers. The top row of seats are reserved for late-comers, a great idea to not disturb others, while being less obtrusive to the performers. I really liked this theater - it's comfortable, cozy, and the sound quality is excellent. By the way, at this show, audio or video recording was not allowed. And expect to get the treatment from the performers and other audience members if you "forget" to turn off your cell phone.

Stopped by 5/28 to hear some jazz and have a bite. Booked a table in advance (recommended). Ginetta’s Vendetta was playing the early show. The band was tight and they played a variety of pieces. Great energy. Ordered a pepperoni pizza (small) but it was pretty big. Couldn’t finish it so gave what was left to the band. Pizza was good and the drinks were as well. Thumbs up.

We took our grandson who is 5 to the Charlie Brown play! It was so fun! The actors were great and made the play very entertaining. We look forward to seeing another production in the near future.

I just completed my third one week stay at this boutique property.
    I acknowledge the following staff for their professionalism;
Richard - Kitchen Supervisor - This guy knows his stuff!
Marcel - Front Desk / GSA - Friendly and dedicated.
Brandon - Engineering - Knowledgeable, polite and easygoing.
Lisbonne - Housekeeper - Detail oriented and pleasant.

We attended and saw the "Soul Sisters" the band was great. Have no idea why more people are not at these concerts. Parking is close by. Grab your beach chairs, cooler and something to drink and check this out. They played great dance tunes - everyone was on their feet dancing. Very fun.

They post the full schedule on their website. Concerts start at 6 and go until 8. You can eat dinner before or after. Great location, great entertainment, great sound.

Spot for late night drinks, when you don't want to end the evening. Keep an eye on the tab as they make mistakes.

I have been to this theater over a dozen times the past 20 years. Plays have been everywhere from dull to excellent. Sordid Lives was cute albeit a little over the top. The bad experience here was that several cast members smoked during the play as part of the "atmosphere" of the story. Problem is that this theater is very small and the smoke quickly became very noticeable which bothered several in the audience including myself.

The show was good and entertaining, however I felt it was very overpriced. Small venue and very small audience.
