My wife and I visited Honeymoon Island State Park at sunset. Fortunately we arrived early to enter the park since the line was quite long in June. The views were amazing! We went down to last parking area to walk up the beach where it was less crowded. The west facing beach provides one of the best sunset views in the state! I highly recommend a visit here!

What an amazing find a quick 15 min boat ride to the Island by purchasing a ticket at the ticket booth once inside the Caladesi state park. Water was great lovely beach walk many shell finds. Water was brackish it was not pretty blue as the advertisement I read however, to be expected realizing the location and maybe time of year . This was my very first visit and plan on returning soon. I do recommend wearing a water shoe/sandal as the broken shells can be rough on bare feet also the sand becomes very hot by afternoon. The Island does offer for a cost chair rentals and umbrellas. We brought plenty of water with us not realizing they do offer food, drinks and souvenirs you can buy. Nice bathrooms and showers to rinse off sand. It’s unfortunate I did not take my phone to capture what I was in awe with during our walk.

We live about a mile from the Pinellas Trail and hubby cycles almost daily. This trail is 45 miles long extending from St. Pete to Tarpon Springs and plans to connect to other trails will extend it to 75 miles. Currently 65 miles are complete of the extension. There are overpasses that you ride over the street, otherwise, it's pretty flat. Although motorized vehicles are not allowed, you will see electric wheels, scooters, e-bikes, and every other imaginable electric device on it. When you are near the towns, e.g. Dunedin, the trail gets very crowded especially during tourist season. There are also more stops because of it intersecting with local streets. As you ride away from the towns, there is some nice open roadway. Plenty of stops along the way and most places offer bike racks. You do need to be careful of speeding e-bikes and scooters who ride the trail like a motorcycle, no peddling, just speeding along zipping in and around people. There have been instances where groups of teenagers annoy pedestrians and cyclists as well. Like everything else, stay alert. Trail rangers are around but few and far between. The Pinellas County Sheriff's office will respond to issues.

I've always wanted to go to a Spring Training game and this day didn't disappoint. On March 11, I excitedly gulped my breakfast and chatted with other Jays fans at the hotel. They gave me some extremely helpful tips. Since there's no parking at the ballpark, they suggested going to the Presbyterian Church at Scotland and Highland. Parking in their lot is by donation and it was only a 2 block walk...brilliant. We started in the Jays shop which is very good with unique items. After making our way to our seats, we were glad we wore long pants, sunscreen, and hats. It was hot and sunny...it's Florida! The game was exciting, our view was very good. There were activities for children around the ball park. Food was limited but we managed to get a hot dog and some ice cream. After all, we didn't go to the ball park for a gourmet meal. It was an expensive day but worth it. Jays beat Yankees 8-1. Go Jays!

Love the Dunedin area!!! Fifth trip for my husband and I. So many great things to see and business to go to. We love the craft breweries & distilleries, the beach, the shopping, the great walking/bike path, and we just discovered Hammock Park this year! A great nature park to make you feel like you're out of town even though it's right in town!

This market offers local fare, products, art, organic goods, and very cool stuff by Dunedin small business merchants. The stage highlights a local folksinger who offers just enough musical background ambiance. I enjoyed a few free samples and found an eucalyptus oil that helped with my skin condition, and delicious local honey.
The market is small but large enough to make my trip worthwhile.
Accessible venue with fair size sidewalk,
Accessible parking on street gets crowded quickly. Be prepared for slow traffic through downtown on nights and weekends.

This is a very small space but is packed with all number of Beatles merchandise, collectibles, artifacts etc. I was particularly impressed with the collection of Beatles-branded merchandise, given that this was the Sixties and not today. The proprietor is looking to move to a larger space as he has way more items to display than this space allows. No admission fee (there is a voluntary donation box), If you're a Beatles fan you will love it; if you're not, it's still a very impressive collection.

This concentrated museum offers a glimpse into the people, events, and history of how Dunedin grew up. Great displays, historical devices and tools, and an interactive exhibit give a true picture of Dunedin. This stop is worth a visit during a trip to Dunedin for a meal, live music, dance event, or market stop.
Accessible venue throughout. Accessible van free street parking. Parking is very challenging during evenings and weekends.

Such a fabulous place - with a wide variety of art classes. We came to see the sketch book exhibit - which was interesting and inspiring. Lots of talent.

Weaver Park is off Alt. 19 just north of Dunedin. It has two sections one on the intracoastal and the other across Alt. 19. There is parking on either side of Alt. 19 for access to each section of the Park. It is a great park for kids (families) with both covered and shady playgrounds. It is also along the Pinellas Trail making a great stop while on the Trail or walking to Dunedin from the Park. There is a good bathroom and a couple of covered shelters along with picnic Tables. Very nice park - always well maintained. On this visit, we parked and walked to downtown Dunedin. We did not get any pictures of the park on the water. It is great for sunsets.

Bill and his wife are absolutely wonderful people. Not to mention that he is a great artist, as well. We had been in there a couple times in the past and never really thought about buying until this visit. He could not have been more accommodating because we could not make up our minds and we were very appreciative of his patience with us. He explained thoroughly the process how how he brings his
paintings to life. They are really beautiful and look great in our condo on Honeymoon Island!
