- Mary S1 contributionWe had the best time on this excursion and loved steering through the mangrove tunnels. We laughed the whole time since we aren’t expert kayakers. Tommy was so knowledgeable about the area, the foliage and the wildlife. - Kristen P1 contributionThe kayak trip with Mike was awesome. The Hobie kayaks made it fun, easy, and comfortable to paddle even if there was wind. The tandems were great for kids. We saw a couple dolphins on our trip and were able to hang out and get close to them. The staff we encountered were above and beyond helpful, courteous, and respectful. My cousin and I already agreed we would like to do this every year when I come down on vacation. It was a bit of an unusual start in that there was not a specific physical address as a starting point.
I was greeted warmly and quickly upon arrival. Our guide was exceptionally personable and friendly. He explained every operational aspect of our kayak and the tour.
This was so cool. Our party contained three guests and the guide. Making our way through the mangroves at low tide, our guide described all the visible aspects of nature.
We stopped at Little Hickory Island and took some wonderful sunset photos.
This was a wonderful experience for a novice like me. Went on the reservation to let them know my fight got changed. I changed the time for noon to 8:30 for the exact same day of pick up on the day of pickup. Charge went up $400. - Hunter F4 contributionsWe had a fantastic time with our tour guide Hannah! We saw lots of birds and even some manatees. Hannah was incredibly knowledgeable, and gave us a new appreciation for the complexity of shells and plant life in Florida. Group sizes are kept small, which let us get to know our guide and ensured she had eyes on all of us the whole trip. She took plenty of pictures, including over 25 of us. Mike was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was going to book with a larger company but am very thankful I booked with Mike. We had a very relaxing time and saw lots of animals. He was also super informative and shared lots of cool information about the wildlife of the area and showed us all kinds of shells and what sea life they used to belong to.
