Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- advcardsReno, NV4,233 contributionsAs for you, I would certainly stop in and walk over the floors for the rare box. They had nice displays and let you see some overall definitely worth the 30 minutes.Written 5 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ARoseCharlotte, NC883 contributionsTouring the museum is free, so its worth it if you are in the area. YOu dont have to be a student - it is open to the public to tour. Check in with security on the main floor and show them your ID. I highly recommend a guided tour.
The brain museum is all in 1 room, but there is a lot to go through. Its a very unique museum with a lot of history and details behind everything there. There are drawers and cabinets full of additional things to see so make sure you really look around.Written 16 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The outside doesn't reveal the modern and efficient library lurking on the inside. The staff are friendly and helpful, no matter what you look like and It's free, quiet and safe. The most amazing part of my visit was the light-filled rotunda (with a luminous grill-work skylight in the center) when you walk in through the door and the two beautiful murals above the doorways on either ends of the rotunda. if you've been sightseeing all day, its too hot or too cold and you need a peaceful place to kick back, get online or read a book, this is the free, public place to go.Written 24 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
