Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited this site during a tour of Yale University. I found it peaceful and welcoming and of course, the architecture of all things Yale is amazing. I had a moment to say thanks to our military for their service.

The Broadway Civil War Monument is located at the intersection of Broadway St. and Elm St. in New Haven, Connecticut. A 31 ft. pedestal with an eagle at the top, it was dedicated in 1905 and was the third of three Civil War monuments that were raised in New Haven. It is dedicated to four Connecticut Civil War regiments, the 10th Connecticut Volunteers, the 7th Connecticut Volunteers (known as Hawley's Brigade), the 6th Connecticut Volunteers and the 1st Connecticut Light Battery (known as Rockwell's Battery).

I totally agree and would reiterate Jack L.'s review. Very small ~has 3 different monuments to look at~ with an ocean as a back drop. When we GPS the location it was wrong but on the right road you just have to travel about 1 mile up and there is even is a 6 car parking lot across the street from it.
