Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It was very relaxing in a lovely environment and my skin felt great afterwards.Written 27 April 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - janey519Auckland Central, New Zealand27 contributionsI was called in as there was a last minute cancellation. Unfortunately the hairdresser I got didn't seem to like me much, and seemed very pleased to get rid of me.
It may have been partly a communication problem. The hairdresser, Chrissy, was Korean and her English was only ok, not great. She was rushed for time (after I sat for at least 45mins with hair dye on), and didn't give the "Very good head masssge" she had promised. No head massage when you're spending $214 is definitely disappointing. She was then quite rude when we were discussing what style of haircut I wanted, she was determined not to do what I wanted, but in the end, did a reasonable job.
It was a shame to pay a lot of money for an unpleasant eperience. Definitely won't go back because of Chrissy, but Zac the male hairdresser, was extremely nice, and seemed to have happy customers.Written 22 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
