Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Irene E2 contributionsThere's nothing to ever NOT love about Calcareous Vineyard professionals. They are all so friendly, courteous, kind, and attentive to you. They are attentive and answer graciously with their knowledge of wines to fit your tastes as well. I've been a member for years with the rookies of Calcareous and they have all moved on to new ventures. I miss them greatly! I must say; Calcareous continues to bring in the best crew (oh so handsome too 😊). That's not what draws me tho). Jason the Vintner! He's sharp as a tack!!!
Don't ever miss an opportunity to spend your time here. You'll never regret a second!Written 27 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Could spend the whole day here taking in the fresh air, looking at the rolling hills and enjoying great wine! Host was extremely nice, I walked in as party of one, she got me seated at the bar quite quickly. (definitely recommend a reservation, but they accept walk-ins). Jolene was my server she was amazing and so sweet! I enjoyed their tasting flight which was $50… my opinion well worth it for the quality and the views alone! So many spots to relax and enjoy food and wine, great spot for a date or a day with friends! Favorite wine of the day was 2020 Patrimony cabernet & the Reserve Rose!Written 2 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jack H109 contributionsWonderful experience at Hope winery. Our host, Clayton, was excellent. Wine pours were generous and Clayton offered us more than what was just on the list. - Mark MLa Palma, CA79 contributionsGreat place if you like learning about our country's history. Tons of interesting things to see here in addition to all the vintage and more modern airplanes and military hardware. The docents are wonderful. It is just a mile or two off Hwy. 46 East and well worth the trip. I look forward to my next trip to Paso Robles just to see what additions have been made, because they are always improving the place.Written 6 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's a beautiful farm and was very different than all of our other, more modern winery stops. We loved all of the reds and wish we had booked the elevated experience in advance, but loved what we had for the regular tasting. They have a great price point and we loved the reds as much as all the other places we stopped! I would highly recommend this as a stop to give some contrast to the other wineries in the area. This was one of our favorite stops!Written 11 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Ed DMarietta, GA46 contributionsThis is the second year of visiting Law EstateWines and we enjoyed the tasting again. The person doing our tasting was from our home area and went to SCAD.We had her for the second year and she again was entertaining as well as educational. The tasting room is gorgeous. There wines include Audacious. Beguiling, Intrepid and several others. We enjoy all of them. Great visit.Written 24 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Milocat007Santa Cruz, CA333 contributionsI've visited 3 - 4 times, always bringing new people with me. For the size, quality of the collection and the price of admission, it's a "must see" while you're anywhere near Paso, and that means Morro Bay, SLO, Pismo, Lake Nacimiento, etc. If you choose to skip the air museum, expect to spend 45 minutes to 1.5 hours with the cars, unless you've got a car nut with you.Written 20 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bob MLos Angeles, CA7 contributionsWonderful, small family winery, one of the very first in the Paso Area. Full of history and family pride. Had visited before and met the owners but enjoyed meeting them once again and hearing stories and seeing family photos of how they came from Italy and eventually started wine making. Don't expect the showcase glamor of many of the big wineries in Paso. This is a family winery that makes exceptional Sangiovese, Barbera, Cabernets and several others wines with a Super Tuscan style. It's
like being family in Italy but just off route 46!Written 15 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Every detail of the rooms is custom and the bed and bedding were luxurious.
Our hosts were welcoming and friendly and encouraged us to watch their winemaking process. The included wine tasting proved that these guys can make superior wine. The breakfast was also excellent. We highly recommend Croads.Written 30 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Married Rogers N4 contributionsQuaint and Fantastic! My hubby and I came across Penman Springs and stopped on a whim. Beautiful little spot, great service and incredible wine! When you come to Paso there is so much to choose from and often you are drawn to the “big boys” simply because they are paying more for marketing. If you want great wine and to support local Paso Wine Makers this is your spot!! Beth was so hospitable and provided great insight into the wine making and the history of their winery!Written 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
