Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Richard WPenn Valley, CA878 contributionsLocated in the Paso Robles winery area of California's Central Coast this winery offers a fun place to visit, taste quality wines, learn about the wines and have an enjoyable time either inside or outside.
The wines are of very good quality and the tastings are generous.Written 6 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sherry HLago Vista, Texas, United States65 contributionsthis was our second stay with Opolo and as with the first it was excellent. The suite was clean and provided wine and food plates every afternoon. The am breakfast was a great start to our wine tasting day. The vineyard is beautiful and everyone we interacted with on property were very professional and nice. We will always choose to stay here on our visits.

- Joanie W1 contributionJ. Lohr was our first and favorite tasting in Paso. We were lucky to get Geraldine as our wine educator and she took the tasting to the next level. Not only was the wine delicious, but we also learned so much about the vineyard and the history of J. Lohr. I highly recommend making this a stop, and ask for Geraldine!Written 21 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jenpic626Columbus, OH277 contributionsThe 8 of us had a wonderful time at Oso Libre. It's a beautiful farm and was very different than all of our other, more modern winery stops. We loved all of the reds and wish we had booked the elevated experience in advance, but loved what we had for the regular tasting. They have a great price point and we loved the reds as much as all the other places we stopped! I would highly recommend this as a stop to give some contrast to the other wineries in the area. This was one of our favorite stops!Written 11 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- hlc52Central Coast CA2 contributionsGorgeous setting out on the grass, shaded with giant oak trees and with views in every direction! THE BEST and most warm & friendly staff in this casual but nurturing setting. Birds chirping, water fountains trickling with an iced bucket of your favorite white (or red/no ice) ~ charcuterie, and chilled bottles of water. We're so fortunate to live close as this oasis melts stress away and creates relaxation and laughter. (You can bring your own picnic meal if you'd like!)
Check out the "catch of the month" membership which offers you free concerts with complimentary glass of wine. The Saturday concerts (check schedule) you can also get a taco bar plate with Paul's fresh-caught grilled fish (or meat) for $15 adding to the fun atmosphere with the live music. ***Last night was a BLAST!
My fave is their Sparkling Brut Rose... My husband's loves their Viognier, Oak Barrel White and their Merlot. Plenty more to choose from!
They provide dog water bowls if your pup is well-behaved and stays on leash.
But their Winery Dog, Rowdi (who isn't rowdy) will sometimes be there to personally greet you with her happy wagging tail.
They also produce their own olive oil from the gorgeous 100+ year old olive trees next to the "tasting lawn"... there is also seating inside the tasting room if you prefer a/c.

Indoor, outdoor and shaded seating, plentiful free parking.
Great food available, including a number of tri-tip options.

Had visited before and met the owners but enjoyed meeting them once again and hearing stories and seeing family photos of how they came from Italy and eventually started wine making. Don't expect the showcase glamor of many of the big wineries in Paso. This is a family winery that makes exceptional Sangiovese, Barbera, Cabernets and several others wines with a Super Tuscan style. It's
like being family in Italy but just off route 46!Written 15 August 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Helen E. cashGrand Cayman255 contributionsPear valley vineyards. Left an impression on me.
Never experiencing their wines or even hearing of Pear valley before, i was amazed at the quality of wines they produced as well as the variety of grape vines that are grown, vines i thought can only survive in the European weather.
Pear Valley doesnt only produces great wines but it also has a gorgeous view of the mountain and valley below and you can enjoy a beautiful view of their vineyard from the beautiful gazebo where wedding ceremonies are held.
So if you are searching for the perfect place to get married with a lovely view.
Pear Valley Vineyard is perfect.Written 6 November 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I got the ‘Sweet as Spring’ ($22) semi sweet wines. This tasting flight when up $2 from $20 because they are now served in glass not plastic cups. The flavors are Lemon lime, Orange fusion, Golden honey peach, and Royals.
My mom does not drink but while I was away to the restroom, she took a sip of each. I came back and she asked for a cup of ice so that she could pour the lemon lime wine in to drink. That was shocking. Đít time in history.
Lemon line taste like uncarbonated sprite. They all taste like it sounds. It was hot so we sat inside but outside was very nice with live music.
For food we got Filet mignon stir fry ($23)
and Combination pizza ($19). Both were excellent choices. The filet was so tender and the sauce was to die for. It had a lot of pepper and some jalapeños on which gave a tiny peppery kick. The thin crust pizza had pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions and bell peppers.
The retail shop had all the Stella Rosa wine flavors that you normally can’t find in stores. They sell all kinds of gift and kitchen items. Will definitely check out other locations.Written 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Em C28 contributionsThe most wonderful experience after popping in to Le Vigne! We came for the wine and cheese tasting, which was wonderful. We were BLOWN AWAY by Chef Walter's food - the burrata and homemade pesto lasagna - as standouts. With the food options to go and delicious wines, a must stop for us in Paso!! Will be back!!Written 23 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
