- Stephanie P1 contributionThank you, Breakaway Tours, for a fantastic exploration of Paso Robles wineries! Four of us ventured to Paso Robles to visit, learn, and enjoy some of the wines of the region. We had a couple of ideas of wineries we wanted to visit, but left the rest to Breakaway. Jill listened to our preferences and what we have enjoyed in the past, and put together a delightful itinerary that maximized our time, but allowed us enough time to enjoy each winery. Some of the highlights of our trip were the wineries that offered lunch in addition to the tastings. Jill was our hostess one day and Paul was our host two days. They were both excellent, giving us lots of information about the area and wineries and just delightful to be around.
They kept us on time so we didn’t miss any appointments and our transportation was so comfortable. We didn’t have to worry about anything except enjoying the wine.

It gives you a greater understanding and appreciation for the town the names behind it. Erik received high ratings from my tour group. - Alma WTexas167 contributionsWe just got back from Paso where we spent 2 days wine tasting with the assistance of Paso Robles Wine Tours (PRWT). Everything was seamless from the onset, when I first contacted PRWT, until we completed our 2-day wine tasting early this week. My initial contact was with Chris then with Jed, after he returned from vacation. Both were incredibly helpful & knowledgeable. I had indicated that we had 3 'must visit' vineyards (Daou, Eberle & Epoch) and Jed suggested the other 3. His suggestions were very good - smaller vineyards but definitely worth visiting. Jed suggested that we should have lunch at Daou - stunning vineyard for lunch as it was like being in Tuscany! Jed also provided us with boxed lunches during our other tasting day. For 2 days, our guide was Emma. I cannot rave enough about her! We learned so much from this wonderful young lady - not just about wine & the region but just enjoyed talking about anything & everything with her. Emma was a ball of energy, positivity & she kept us on track (we tend to linger). She definitely helped make our tour experience much more enjoyable.

On time, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. - timmR4720PS1 contributionWe were fortunate enough to find Ron and Central Coast Tasting Tours. This was our first trip to the Paso area for wine tasting and Ron was the perfect host. He picked four of our five wineries, all homeruns! Ron has a vast knowledge of the area and which made our time with him informative. He escorted us into every winery which made us feel like VIPs! Ron was flexible with timing and we never felt any pressure at all. We highly recommend Central Coast Tasting Tours!!
