Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- kairlottaSalt Lake City, UT129 contributionsThis was a bucket list item and at $60 per adult, I gasped a bit, but it was totally worth it. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. Remember to purchase your tickets in advance. Don't forget to go outside and see the views from the patio. I really enjoyed seeing all the exhibits, especially Dory and friends.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jaskel08California249 contributionsThis playground is probably the largest and most expansive we have encountered. It is also my kids’ favorite. We literally end up spending over three hours each time we are there. The playground is ideal for kids 2-9. It’s also well maintained – doesn’t look old/worn down.
What’s most impressive is the variety of structures/equipment that the kids of all ages can play with. Within the parking lot are clean bathrooms, drinking fountains, and a place to buy some snacks. The place also has plenty of shade and benches for picnicking.
Surrounding the playground is a pond, with ducks, and paddle boats.
It never gets old.Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We enjoyed seeing different areas and for sunset, we parked by Asilomar State Beach and enjoyed the views. Its a gorgeous ocean area in California.Written 27 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Nalah918Los Angeles, CA13 contributionsNice quiet park with lots of easy trails, there were no envelopes provided to pay for entrance, there was a post with a slot where people were dropping cash/donations.
The park was recently reopened on August not sure why it was closed but I think because all the rain we had a few months ago….
A few benches along some trails where you take a break if needed with lots of shade. There are tables for a picnic, bathrooms are clean, plenty of parking.
Overall great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Monterey.Written 10 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Now that Torrey Pines is a complete fiasco it's nice to play in under 6 hours. This time my granddaughter came along so we did the Historic walk through the city and cell phone tour. We also visited the common house and other State staffed historic locations. The representative in The State House was awesome. His historic knowledge is very informative. You will learn a lot speaking with these people. Never miss that walk.Written 11 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ItchyFeetCamarillo, CA7,752 contributionsThis is a very large area extending down towards Big Sur with great coastal views when you can see lots of wildlife: sea otters, sea lions, whales off in the distance and lots of flowers along trailsWritten 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ItchyFeetCamarillo, CA7,752 contributionsThis park is located just before you reach Cannery Road and between Cannery Row and the Fisherman’s wharf.
There are several benches where you can sit and watch the surf and the wildlife. There is also a nice grass area that you can sit in to have a picnic and enjoy the park.
There are lots of scuba diving classes and people in the water. From sitting on the bench, we saw many types of birds, as well as sea otters, an elephant seal, sea lions, and Pacific Harbor seals.Written 6 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The Rec Traim stretches all the way from Del Monte Beach, past Fisherman's wharf, Cannery Row and then into Lover's Point in Pacific Grove. Extends further all the way to Asilimar Beach!Written 13 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
