Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is a mesmerizing wonder that surpasses all expectations. Despite the challenges of reaching it, the surreal landscape and endless salt flats make every obstacle worth it. Standing amidst this natural marvel is an unforgettable experience that will leave you in awe of the beauty of our world.

In the middle of the truly amazing, bucket list, salar (salt flat) it's an interesting sight in itself, but your ticket allows you to hike about 1km on a defined, one-way trail up and around the island (and visit the washroom -- we had to show our ticket to get in!) The added height gives great views across the salar (where the brightness reflected off the salt confused my camera's light metering) with the huge cacti in the foreground. A surprising number of birds also seem to call the island home.

Everyone on a tour also seems to have lunch here, hopefully at one of the shaded tables, or perhaps bringing their own table, chairs and shade.

Its a large area lake besides the eco hotel Los Flamencos. Its little bit stinky but the view is overwhelming. The flamingos are so social that even you go near them they don’t go away. Any one can take selfie with them also. Here i took some awesome pictures of them. I like this lake to my heart.

Large lake fed by thermal waters. Lots of birds around and llamas and vacunas. Waters are said to have medicinal properties.

Fantastic one day salt flat tour with Miguel.

He was a very safe driver, informative and an incredible photographer.

As long as your don't want high luxury (which I'm not sure you can get on a group tour) I can't reccomend this tour enough. Was exactly as described and one of the best things I've ever done.

The trip was really well-planned. The food, places we stayed, and sights we saw were amazing. Dilmer and Christian were awesome, super flexible, and made sure we had a good time. I'll totally recommend this agency to anyone looking for an awesome time in Salar.

My son who had researched our trip to Bolivia was extremely keen to visit Eduardo Avaroa National Park. It seemed difficult to get to until I discovered Uyuni Expeditions. Gabriela from UE was fantastic. After I explained what we wanted to visit, she put together the perfect itinerary for us. She very patiently answered all my many emails, the result of which was an experience we will never forget. Every detail was perfect - our driver Silvio was great, the vehicle was very comfortable, the amazing picnic lunches by the lagunas and the incredible landscapes in the National Park. I can without a doubt, recommend Uyuni expeditions if you want a comfortable, problem free and memorable experience in one of the more remote and spectacular areas of the world. We have so many wonderful memories of this beautiful place!

Andrea Tours did not appear in any of our guidebooks but the lady at the agency was reassuring and , unlike other agencies, did not push us to book a tour through a volcano area which was flooded and therefore officially closed at the time. Our driver Edwin was a really fine guy and apparently the only driver that did not feel the urge to drink the night before a 4am departure to the Salar. What keeps me from a five star rating is the salt hotel in San Juan that cooperates with Andrea Tours. It was clean and good value but had a dragon as administrator and the last thing you want to hear during a trip to the middle of nowhere is that the hotel would be better off without annoying guests such as yourself. Also does not have plugs in the rooms.

I had a 3 days tours of “Salar de Uyuni y lagunas” and it was the best experience ever! Saltpic has unique experiences like the “Night star lightning tour” where you can see the stars reflected in the “Salar” and you can make amazing pictures, we loved the sunset in the “Salar” specially because our guide did the most amazing videos and pictures and this is definitely a highlight from this tour, you can just focus to enjoy the amazing Salar and lagoons while your guide is taking the most amazing pictures and videos for you. The guides were very knowledgeable and kind, I would definitely come back and do another tours with Saltpic. Mauricio organized our tours and he was amazing and very accommodating.
