In general, it is walkable but being from the Northeast, no matter how much water we carried, no matter how much we lathered up, no matter the sunglasses and hats we wore, we were too hot within the hour. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved learning about Taliesin West’s growth and changes over time. The gift shop is a must visit, showcasing art in addition to the usual gift store items.
