Even though it was a bit chilly and rainy, our tour guide Khan was the best at keeping us entertained with his quick wit and charm. He may have missed his calling as a stand-up comedian. He was extremely knowledgeable and kept us on schedule. We highly recommend this tour for first-timers to Spain. - James SUnited Kingdom42 contributionsExploring Segovia and Ávila in a day by public transport would be nearly impossible, so if you're short on time then this tour is perfect! Our guides Maria and Rafa were great, they had us laughing from the moment we boarded the bus and looked after us well throughout the day - could see them checking in and chatting to everyone on the bus, which was nice - especially as we were a very mixed group of at least 40! We booked the option without monuments, which gave us time to explore these gorgeous Spanish cities ourselves. - Shivani G1 contributionOur tour guide, Sarah, and our driver, Javi, made the trip a great experience. The bus was clean, comfortable, and punctual. They were very knowledgeable about the area. Sarah did a great job explaining everything in both Spanish and English, making it easy for international tourists like us to follow along. It was a fantastic way to explore two incredible historical cities in a single day and learn so much. - Anna C13 contributionsTHIS IS PART OF A LARGER TOUR. We didn’t know this going into it and it would’ve been very helpful information. There’s a larger tour from Madrid that goes to Avila and Segovia and this joins that group through Avila. Maria was our tour guide and she did a great job showing the large group around the city, and then took us to get our teams separately from the other tour group. Overall very confusing not knowing we were waiting on a bus group and we ended up calling the company since we didn’t see a tour guide at the meeting location and they told us it was a group from Madrid. Maria's knowledge of the history of both towns, and of Spain in general is very impressive. Her delightful personality made everyone in our group of 5 feel right at home. Note: There are FEW toilet facilities when you do this tour so be prepared.
