- Amanda LPerth, Australia2 contributionsI can't fault the drivers...Alex (in Nusa Penida - which trust me in this spot..you want a great driver and he was!) and Komang (on the main island side). The snorkelling was stunning..the corals are still full of colour and yes, we saw a Manta Ray and a huge pod of dolphins (both magical and worth the trip). Those not use to a quick snorkelling trip might be a little put off as it's a jump in, look quick, get out and on to the nest destination kinda trip.
If you really want photos for the 'gram you can't go past this place...but that's also the downfall...if you simlpy want a nice photo, then you will be battling against scenery 'gram hogs who clearly don't recognise that some people just want a simple snap for personal consumption.
You need to be fit enough for the walking/climbing up and down the stairs and steep hills and make sure you have either plenty of water or plenty of money to keep purchasing water at each location and a great hat to shade you from the direct sun.
The lunch place had great food however the toilet is a traditional toilet which some people might struggle with...but you are on a remote island, so it's expected.
The roads are very narrow and super bumpy with major holes everywhere that Alex had to expertly navigate. If you are prone to car sickness or headaches, this is not the trip for you.

I started 15 mins late from Hotel but made in time to the port to get the ferry for Nusa Penida thanks to our driver Aprio.
At nusa penida we were welcomed by Widiana who helped us create great digital memories in form of pictures and videos at Broken, Angel Billabong and Kelingking beach.

He took care of the tickets and showed us how to go to Nusa Lembongan. In Nusa Lembongan we toured and were shown the area we were going to, it was amazing we were happy. - SheryllNorway3 contributionsHighly recommend! We hired boat which was a great price for our group of 9. We left at 7:30am and visited 4 locations over 2ish hours, including Manta Bay (not point). We were lucky enough to see mantas up close, and also saw a turtle as soon as we arrived. The fish and coral are so impressive too. Everything was super easy - booking, our guide on the boat - and we were really grateful to get a bunch of photos and videos from the trip. This was a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed this trip very enjoyable thanks to a solid and tough team. And I really appreciate Alit's non-smoking guide, several times I tour drivers usually smoke. Our guide Robert then took us around the island to see the temple and other sights + beaches. - Curiosity325299614235 contributionsExactly as it says, going to Instagram spots. Raya was our driver from the hotel in Ubud and he was great. Helped us find our boat and picked us up on time at the end of the day. Private driver found us getting off the boat at the island. Roads are pretty bad so if you don’t like bumpy rides maybe stick closer to the port. We snorkeled and hit 4 spots in around an hour and a half. DIPTA ARYA KUTAWARINGIN at Bali was amazing. As it was my bf’s birthday on the tour day, I texted him the day before if we could do a mini surprise for him. He planned it out, bought the cake and executed the birthday surprise at my villa’s doorstep successfully. He went the extra mile to give such a good customer service and surprised my bf!!!! Thank you!! :)
As for the tour package itself, most of the time spent was traveling in the car and not exploring the sites itself, nor were there any explanation/audio guide of the island (history) but mostly taking pictures. I hope we could have more time allocated to hike, roam and discover the island.
