Even though the whales weren't as numerous as they were last year ( Which is in no way the operators problem ), we got to spot a number from close up (instead of from on the beach).It was a great morning out on the water with wonderful people. I got a Yellowfin and another fellow caught a beautiful blue marlin. Best of all, we took home fish fillets for dinner. - HmetcalfAnaheim, CA43 contributionsHad an amazing time with Ocean Toa today! This was our second tour into the passage - the last time was with a sea scooter company in a fairly large group. With Ocean Toa, we were a very small group using diving fins and a boat so we didn’t have to fight the current getting back to shore. They paired a family with little experience with one guide and another guide took my husband and I who are experienced snorkelers. The guide was excellent at finding the turtles and rays, and he took fantastic photos and video with his go-pro. They even used a drone to take video of us overhead and took the time afterwards to share all the footage with us. We usually take our own underwater video, but today our equipment failed, so we were so happy they were recording everything. Our charter was later than usual due to family personal reasons, but still exciting and weather not to bad. Although we couldn't get to the FADS because the wind was fluctuating too much it was still fun. We got to see a whale towards the end of the charter so not all was lost! Really comfortable vessel, great Captian Grant and his 1st mate..they have everything you need..Toilet, alcoholic refreshments...they generously take you out for hours into the beautiful blue waters around Raro..we saw whales in our 1st 5 mins, drank BYO wine and nibbles and could purchase more..sitting on the top deck listening to cool sounds and taking in
the stunning vista.Highly recommend
