I have never had an experience like it, was so cool seeing the turtles in their natural environment. I felt very safe the whole time with the guides, they are great at being aware of everyone’s needs and confidence levels. I thought I’d be really exhausted from all the swimming but you can easily float and glide along with the current. Must do in Rarotonga.

Incredible experience! Big T's safety demonstration and map of the channel was next level awesome - funny and solid at the same time. Very experienced guides and safety equipment meant that even less experienced snorkelers were catered for.

We saw so many turtles, as well as eagle rays, and obviously a multitude of fish and coral. After the tour we were able to wash off in fresh water, then were served a refreshing assortment of local fruit.

Highly recommended. The only thing missing was a toilet nearby.

The day we went sea was very rough in the channel. However, guided by Pappa Turtle to get out to the channel, was well worth it. Too rough to see the rays, but saw some amazing turtles up close. Alana was our personal guide who kept checking to see if we felt safe - which we did. Loved every minute of it. Now just waiting for photos to be sent.

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks for the incredible experience we had on your tour. From start to finish, it felt like so much more than just a typical outing—it was personal, intimate, and truly authentic. The small group setting allowed us to really connect with both the environment and the beauty of the turtles, making the whole experience feel special and unique.

Your passion for what you do shone through every moment, and we were so grateful to be a part of it. It’s clear that you care deeply about the ocean and that care truly enhanced the experience for us. We left with not only wonderful memories but also a deeper appreciation for the beautiful marine life.

Thank you again for such a memorable day. We’ll be recommending Papa Turtle Tour to everyone we know and hope to join you again someday!

Breathtaking experience! The team was super attentive and safety was a top priority! We also organized our hotel transfers with them and they showed us around the island and a small hike as well which was very kind.

    Will definitely be back!

Such an awesome experience, the team were very professional and helpful. Even if you’re not a super confident swimmer in the ocean the sea scooters made it so easy to move around. Would highly recommend going!

Excellent tour, especially as I was very nervous to do this tour. Hubby is an experienced snorkeller but the sea scooter was a new experience for us both.

The safety of the group is paramount, so the safety checks and explanations of how the sea scooters work was well presented. Having a lead guide, back safety guide, photograher, paddleboard and boat watching and guiding the group, made me feel safe at all times.

We saw loads of turtles, even the oldest one chilling on the bottom. She then came up towards the surface to take a few breaths and then swam off again.

The guides saw some eagle rays and dived down to take some photos for the group. There is a good variety of reef fish to see as well.

Well worth the cost for the peace of mind given to me
