Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- McMorgie8 contributionsThis was my second time at Charlotte's beautiful work out on water retreat and It was even better than the last time I was there .
In desperate need of some r&r my friend and I decided to make the trip to Raro for some awesome paddle boarding , yoga and adventuring.
Charlotte took us to so many beautiful places including on a private snorkelling trip where we were able to get up close with some of the islands resident turtles. This was such a life changing experience for me . something I will never forget and thanks to Charlottes incredible underwater photography skills and relationship with these beautiful turtles I have several photos to look back on as well.
The Yoga classes were exactly what I needed, gentle and restorative, however if you are after more of a work out you need only ask, Charlotte can cater to all different levels of yoga enthusiasts.
The food was sensational and healthy, The girlfriend I was traveling with is Vegan and Charlotte and her Dad Tuhe made sure to cater for her without any dramas at all. we never went hungry that's for sure.
Unfortunately we encountered some rainy weather on the trip, which I was actually grateful for as it gave me the opportunity to slow down and relax, quietly read a book and practice some yoga indoors however when the rain stopped we had some of our yoga classes on the house's beautiful private beach.
The paddle boarding is next level beautiful !
Muri Lagoon with all its stunning clear water, palm trees and cute little fish offered a stunning backdrop for sup yoga. I could look at this every day and never be sad !
Our group did a 10k paddle with Tuhe which I must admit I was nervous about but it was a breeze, all that blue water and the view of the island is perfect for switching off your mind and basking in pure gratitude.
One thing that I was super happy about is that Charlotte being the awesome photographer she is managed to capture so many amazing moments for me. I love to look back on my holiday happy snaps and am never without a camera of some description . I loved being able to get in to every activity knowing that Charlotte would capture all the happy memories for me, not to say that I didn't take a billion of my own pics too but its nice to have that bonus .

was very happy teaching at Michelle's gorgeous custom made Yoga Studio. Right from the beginning it exceeded all expectations.
The house and studio have a lovely Island style and accommodated the group having lunch there each day.
The yoga studio provided really good quality equipment including yoga mats, blocks, straps and specialized yoga chairs. And the venue itself was delightful to practice and teach in.
I really cant recommend this venue enough.
In addition we all had massages with Michelle in her custom made meditation/massage hut. She really is one of the best Sports Massage Therapists. It was an absolutely bonus and highly recommend you book in early.
Thank you Michelle (and Terry) for going over and above to make our stay amazing.

He is a wonderful teacher - very approachable and generous with his knowledge, and his love of sailing is catching. We really enjoyed being out on the lagoon on the lovely sailboat, and it's hard to think of a more perfect experience than watching the sunset over Raro from the Treddlecat out on the lagoon! This was amazing value for a most memorable experience - we highly recommend it!Written 16 July 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JAE-123Sydney, Australia45 contributionsA great educational experience. From seed, to tree, to fruit, to bean, to fermentation, to cocoa butter - all explained by a plantation farmer who is passionate about growing the cocoa plantations into a viable industry for the Cook Islands. I learnt a lot. The smells and tastes along the way were new to me.
This is NOT a chocolate factory that you may be thinking because of the name. It is a factory describing the process of farming, ready to sell the beans. There is NO chocolate for sale. You do get to taste the beans and a 100% as well as 70% chocolate, with no sugar or milk added.
The by-products of the process are for sale - eg, chocolate vodka, vanilla (as pods, or as essence), and a local sinus medicine.
It's definitely worth the money! Koteka, our guide, is keen to share his knowledge. He does so successfully and with humour. I wish the cooperative the best of luck with their venture.Written 10 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
