We had an amazing day touring and learning about Moorea with our guides, Vai and Ron on the Moorea Island Safari.
The tour included stops at a variety of locations, including Magic Mountain’s spectacular views, visiting a pineapple plantation, a distillery, and a local stand where we tasted local fruits and homemade jams.
    It was an unforgettable day!

If there is one thing you need to do in Moorea, spend the day with a local!
We have chosen this excursion because we were keen on learning Polynesian culture!! We wanted to know their history, learn about the way they live and practice activities they are doing on a daily basis!
    Well, we were served!!
Sam came to pick us up to our hotel in the morning and then took us at is place! We spent the morning fishing with him and his nephew Manu and then he took us back to his place, where his wife were cooking the fish we took in the morning! The lunch was great!! Delicious meal! We had the opportunity to discuss with them about the life in french polynesia!
In the afternoon, he took us to visit his plantation!
Sam is a lovely guide, you can feel that he loves his country, his history!
He is full of knowledge about tales and ancient histories!!
It was a very interesting day! We highly recommend!

Luna and Clement took us on an early morning private lagoon tour to visit with sting rays, black tipped reef sharks, turtles and a coral garden full of fish. The water was crystal clear and calm. Luna took great pictures of our group that she shared later and served us fresh fruit on our way back to the dock. This tour rocked in every way. Five Stars!

Pierre knows his stuff!!! He took us all over the island and gave us an education of Moorea. The tour we took allowed us to see different places on the island from Belvedere to a private beach, to a beautiful waterfall and tropical garden. He made us a delicious lunch of raw fish and I only hope that I can recreate it home!! Pierre is the THE best!!!

We did this activity because it was recommended to us by another tourists. Apoline is an excelent kayack teacher, and she makes you feel very secure. We did the half day activity so we went first to see the sharks and rays, and after we had the chance of going to a private island to do some snorkeling and having a break with a very tasty chocolate cake. Even though there was some current, she explained us so well how to swim there, that even my husband who is very afraid of swimming in the ocean had a good time! We had a very nice time. As we included the photos, The same day we recived them in our email and they were really pretty . 100% recommended.

The ride up to the Belevedere overlook was the high point in all respects of the half day tour. The staff and our guide was quite professional and health and safety conscious. The ebikes really helped with the climb up to the Belevedere and riding back to our resort into the wind. We'd highly recommend touring with or renting from EBike Moorea.

Superb service and beautiful people! Different to all the tourist tours with 10+ people on a boat.
Pierre is a fantastic guide and does always keep the whales the most important factor on the trip. We don’t chase whales, we don’t harass them, we let them to decide if they want to interact with us!
We did five full days with Pierre and Temana, so not the typical half day ‘must see whale’ approach. Temana the captain drove the boat like a surf board with amazing skill. A pleasure to observe how he knows the ocean and plays with the pacific waves.
We are a group of three friends, and also experienced and seasoned scuba divers, thus very much in tune with nature and Pierre totally understood that and we really appreciated his approach. So if there is no whale on one day, it’s ok! This is not a zoo.
I’m already planning to come back in the next few years and will definitely be booking their private tours again!

I went on this holiday alone and love love loved it for so many many reasons but especially the whales!

The WhaleSwim Adventures' staff, accomodation and food provided were all wonderful and so were the other guests.

The 6 days out on the boat were magical and I tried hard not to have expectations of seeing whales but we saw them every day and also swam with them sometimes briefly, sometimes for as long as an hour although time either flashed past or stood still depending on the whale factor.

The first experience was a majestic tail or 3 coming out of the water. The slight anxiety of being in close proximity with whales soon diminished after I saw how agile they were and got the impression of they saw us an curious un-edible prawns floating about on the surface. I felt like they had every hair on our heads mapped out in 3D spatial awareness.

One day towards the end of my trip there was a mama and her calf. Mum was way below watching as bubba (size of my motorhome) kept rolling and returning to eye-ball me and another guest. I was enthralled and felt so humble and and honoured to have this interaction. My heart almost exploded with joy and love. There were tears and squeals of childlike excitement which were carried away by the infinite ocean. The calf and I shared an equal moment of pure awe and curiosity, an invisible yet powerful wordless exchange of energy occurred. Eventually the mum came up and I backed off more from the baby as I saw the sheer size of her rising up. So gentle and slow she anchored herself next to her calf and gave me a look which said so many things that I still carry in my heart today and always will.

This is a once in a lifetime trip - if you are called you don't want to miss this as it will change you forever and strengthen your connection with the earth and its beautiful ocean beings.

A must do in Mo’orea! My wife and I visited Mo’orea from Tahiti for a day and reached out to “Dolphins & Whales Spirit Adventure” about swimming with whales, dolphins, and sea turtles. We were lucky enough to get to swim with a beautiful whale calf, see a pod of dolphins, and finally swim with sea turtles, sting rays, and sharks. The tour was perfect and our guides were not only mindful of us on the boat, but cared about the animals as well. You can tell that this company is really passionate about the whales and animals - which is great! They also served us fresh fruit and had such happy positive demeanors. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mo’orea. You will not be disappointed!

Take the slow tour. Fast tour does the same route, but does not stop. Stops at pineapple plantation, ancient ruins, agriculture school are all worth it.
