- Beth PSWinston Salem, NC31 contributionsThese are the guys you want to be on the water with for catching fish. Matahi is amazing and every point from booking the trip online, to pick up at my hotel, to recommendations for Moorea was fantastic.
But of course it’s all about the fishing. And he delivers! We had a gorgeous day to be out. I learned so much from him about traditional fishing methods in Tahiti. Rigging bait to drop from buoys and hand lines. We brought in 4 great size skip jack and had a big wahoo on -but I lost it before we got it in.
I highly recommend them for your fishing adventures. They will not disappoint

We saw a humpback whale (wasn’t part of the tour but was an extra bonus), saw spinner dolphins, we swam with stingrays and black tipped sharks, saw a sea turtle and an eagle ray, snorkelled to see the underwater tiki statues - not to mention the amazing views out on the water looking back to the island, stunning! Highly recommend for a relaxed and enjoyable tour with knowledgeable local guides :)

We saw rays, sharks, whales, turtles and dolphins! Francesca and the captain were wonderful and professional - my two daughters and I learned so much about the marine life while getting a beautiful tour out to the west coast of Moorea. - Deb G6 contributionsWhat a fantastic tour! We ended up the only 2 on the tour with guide Johnny and Captain Teddy who took great care of us and showed us the wonders of the lagoon. We saw spinner dolphins, snorkeled in beautiful spots with turtles, eagle rays, sharks and giant but friendly stingrays. Plus they gave us great knowledge of the area and local culture and were very friendly and happily answered all our questions. We finished with fruit juice, fresh local pineapple and coconut, plus rum punch too! Our boat tour with Moorea Blue Dream was truly out of this world—an experience that money can’t buy! From start to finish, Tikanui took incredible care of us, treating us like family and ensuring our comfort throughout the day.
The atmosphere felt genuine and intimate, never once like a typical touristy tour filled with bad jokes. We explored stunning locations, enjoyed amazing snorkeling with sharks and stingrays, indulged in beautiful lagoons—all while soaking up the breathtaking views of Moorea.
The boat, top notch, brand new, comfortable seating and had epic sounds that just make your experience that much better!
This was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip. It’s hard to imagine a day that could top this one. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure day with friends or family!

Guides were informative and great to spend the day with. Good to note: this in an advanced swimming ability activity. Some that were not strong enough swimmers to swim quickly and quietly were escorted back to the boat d/t their inability to keep up with the group.
