We recently took a vacation to Costa Rica. One of the adventures was an amazing tour from Syl Travel. Our tour guide named “Risheylin” was super sweet, and very knowledgeable about her country. The tour took us through the jungle, where we tried local Caco (The plant where chocolate comes from), and other local eats and drinks. Part of the tour also included a river cruise, a forest adventure, and more. Risheylin was so upbeat it made our adventure even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Syl Travel and ask for Risheylin.

We walked through a beautiful rainforest with a knowledgeable guide. It is really beautiful. It is amazing to view the growth of all the plants and how thick and plush the rainforest is. We saw some lovely birds, monkeys and sloths. We learned a lot from the guide about the country of Costa Rica.
    This was an interesting tour.

Relax Day Tours was an exceptional experience for us. We were in a group of 6, and saw so much more wildlife than what was reported by the folks who took the cruise ship sponsored tours. Jorge was our guide, and he was amazing. Gabriel was our driver and he also did an outstanding job, pointing out wildlife on the canal portion of the tour that was absolutely amazing!

There was a strike blocking the road to Veragua Rainforest, so Jorge asked if we wanted to wait to see if the road would clear, or if we wanted to go to Cahuita National Rainforest instead. We decided on the second option, and that place was truly magical! We were able to hike through the rainforest, stop at a beautiful beach, and have lunch at the park's restaurant (which was excellent!).

Jorge also stopped at a local market where we could taste fresh bananas, drink freshly brewed Costa Rican coffee (which was less expensive than what they were selling at the port), and then purchase whatever souvenirs we wanted. The people working at the market were lovely, and so appreciative of us taking the time to stop by.

I fell in love with Costa Rica, and can't wait to go back for an extended vacation to that beautiful country with its amazing people! Thanks to Relax Day Tours for a wonderful day! Pure Vida!

Great day out with plenty to see and do. Our guide Arial was very friendly and informative and organised the day well. The impromptu stop to taste Costa Rican coffee and chocolate was a welcome addition to the itinerary. The route to the National Park is partly over an unkempt road (not the fault of the tour company) which made for an uncomfortable journey although the time at the park with our guide Roxanne more than made up for it. The boat ride was OK - not much to see and we felt that the speed of the boat made it difficult to spot and photograph any wildlife we did come across. Overall a good day out and value for money.

Larry is an attentive, informative guide. He made our tour so interesting and I could not recommend him more! The best guide we had on our cruise of 6 stops!

This is not your normal tourist, easy zip line. This is a real zip line and while they make it safe for you, if you are experienced, you can have fun as well. There are 12 zips in all and several of them are long and allow you to get some great speed and adrenalin. If you are a beginner, they have brakes at the end and they help you get set up. If you are experienced and want to speed into things, you can do that as well.

Now the canal boat half was interesting. It was OKAY. My family loved it seeing monkeys swinging through the trees and a few birds and snakes. For me, it was eh. I would have preferred to do the zip line a second time.

The only issue is we never had a chance to buy our photos as our tour bus was leaving as we ended. This was because our group was so large it took a longer time then necessary on the zipline.

Katherine and Gigi were the best!!! They went above and beyond. We got a histroy and culture lesson throughout the towns. We stopped at a gift shop, learned about different seed, plants and the health benefits, hiked in the jungle, went zip lining (9 stations total!), walked across 3 hanging bridges, stopped again for best prices on the best coffee, and I never felt rushed! They made us feel welcomed and they felt like family. I would recommend Katherine and Gigi and I look forward to coming back with more family members so we can all do this tour together!

This was hardly a "Sloth Lovers" tour...we saw two sloths the entire day. Both were sleeping and curled up in a ball at the very top of a tree...so all we could see were their hind quarters. Very disappointing.
However, the walks through Cahuita Nature park and the boat ride along the Tortuguero canal were pleasant enough. For us, the highlight of the day was the Banana plantation...learning more about how bananas are grown and distributed was surprisingly interesting!
The guide and driver were very friendly and informative...our only complaint was that the title of this tour is misleading. Perhaps revise the tour to include a sanctuary where an actual sloth could be seen up close and personal.

I went on the Puerto Limon, Costa Rica Tortuguero And plantation exploration excursion with one and Alejandro. Juan and Alejandro made the tour so fun and so friendly and had so much information to share! I absolutely fell in love with Costa Rica! Purva Vida! We saw and heard howler monkeys, Two toed sloth, Cayman, beautiful birds, beautiful flowers. Then we went to a banana plantation, and we’re showing the process of how bananas are grown and processed. Along the way we were able to sample the fresh fruits of Costa Rica. Juan and Alejandro always made sure we were comfortable, guiding us into the shade, or into the air condition spots. The people of Costa Rica are absolutely amazing! The philosophy by which they live is so beautiful! Juan and Alejandro made our trip even more beautiful, by having so much knowledge of the country and its people. I would definitely recommend this excursion and I would absolutely recommend visiting Costa Rica and Puerto Limon!

Costa Rica Trails arranged a large majority of our trip via our travel agent. Transfers to and from airports, hotels and all excursions. They were very accommodating during the planning process and helped find great resorts and excursions and were fast to respond with changes. The staff was amazing once on our vacation and we never had any issues with our arrangements. Fantastic, trustworthy company and loved having access to a host 24-7 via WhatsApp for any questions or issues. Thank you CRT team!

A lot of sights packed into one tour! Driver was great at spotting wildlife (sloths & giant lizards) and even stopped to get a banana flower. Who knew bananas grew like that! Guide was great, lots of information. Rain forest was pretty good (it's easily accessible so lots of people), the banana plantation was fascinating. It was more of a demonstration plantation than a working plantation but better for it. Los of different types of plants (cacao, paprika etc). The river cruise was ok, would have been better but boat broke down (not Greenway's fault). We still saw a lot f birds and an alligator.
