    Review of: Mahabalipuram & Kanchipuram in a day from Chennai by private car with guide
    Excellent all day tour!
    This was an all day tour during the summer heat or 2022, but our family all made it through the day and loved the experience. Our tour guide Kannan was excellent, and gave some of the best historical explanations for traditions and history in the temples I've experienced during 4 separate trips to India. He was very accommodating to our needs and provided great conversation. The vehicle was excellent and provided an cool escape to the heat.

    If you are looking to visit a lot of places around Chennai during a single day, this is your best bet. We were very pleased and I would recommend it.

    Review of: Chennai city tour in private car with guide & lunch for a cultural immersion
    Yes, This is the Tour You Want to Book!
    We have only traveled through Chennai from the airport to Vellore in the past, so we wanted to learn more about the city. This tour did NOT disappoint. We were picked up at our hotel promptly on time by Kannand and the driver. Our tour included temples, churches, the beach, Fort George, a local handicraft store (at our request), and an amazing S. Indian lunch. Kannand was extremely friendly and knowledgeable; not only did we see the sights, we learned so much about the history of India and the temple. He was able to answer all of our questions in a clear, understandable way. He handled every detail and took great care of us. In addition, the driver was very good and safe (and if you've traveled in India, you know how important that is!). I highly recommend this tour, company, and Kannand. One suggestion is that you avoid booking on a Monday; several of the places are closed on Monday.

    Review of: Chennai day trip to Kanchipuram & Mahabalipuram
    Great tour of Pondichery & Mahabalipuram
    Took a day trip from Chennai to Pondichery and then to Mahabalipuram with Vijay from Five Senses Tours. Fascinating trip to the former French colony with a side trip to the Auroville commune. Then visited the Mahabalipuram monuments on the way back to Chennai. Vijay was a fabulous tour guide and host. We had great conversation on the trip and he was quite knowledgeable. He also arranged a specialist additional guide for Mahabalipuram. All sites were interesting but I'm particularly happy that I visited Mahabalipuram with its monolithic monuments (carved from single large stone!). I highly recommend Vijay and Five Senses. I'll likely be back in Chennai in the future and will certainly use them again.

    Great day trip from Chennai
    Kannan provided an amazing experience. It was comfortable, safe, educational and fun. The sights were not too be missed and I even got some waves renting a board at Mumu’s. I appreciated the lunch stop and lessons in enjoying traditional Indian foods. Highly recommend 5 senses!

    Review of: Food Walk Tour Chennai
    Hidden Gem of a Tour!
    What a great way to spend the evening! Our guide Sharmimi was fantastic company as she explained the history of the area and the heritage of the busy market area were were in. The food was fantastic and you will eat enough to skip dinner if you do the 5pm session! Highly recommend it!

    Review of: Food trail in Sowcarpet Market by Wonder tours
    Amazing experience at the Sowcarpet Market!
    I had a blast touring the bustling Sowcarpet Market in Chennai with Rajesh. I'm a vlogger so Rajesh had to take extra time to allow me to properly film the shots that I wanted to capture, which he did. He also explained the important facts of the market and the food so that I could get myself situated in this maze of history and food. All in all, an awesome experience. I highly recommend you book this tour!

    Amazing tour!
    Had a amazing and fun tour with this company. Kannan was a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable of the city. Kannan is also a very caring tour guide that listens to the customer, and never pressures them to do anything. Felt very comfortable as a solo female traveler with them. They made me feel safe and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this company, nothing but a great experience!

    British architecture walk in Chennai
    The British architecture walk is an excellent way of learning more about the colourful past of Chennai. We saw magnificent buildings that had intriguing stories to tell. Our guide was brilliant and he told us fascinating aspects of a slew of magnificent buildings. We not only learnt about the architecture but also about the collaboration between British and Indian architects and also the role these buildings played in the evolution of the city. I would recommend this walk to anyone who wants to know a little more about Chennai and it's historical connection.

    Review of: Bazaar Trail Walking Tour in George Town
    GREAT way to explore Chennai
    My fiancé came to Chennai on business and I decided to tag along for a holiday. While he was at the office, I wanted to get out and explore the city but felt a bit overwhelmed at first. Thanks to the great travel advice of a friend, I started looking for walking tours. We found StoryTrails and booked the Bazaar tour on a day he had off to do together. It was fantastic! Our guide, Shobana, was very knowledgeable and even incorporated some humor into her stories about the bazaar. The colors and smells of the market were so vibrant! We had such a wonderful time and StoryTrails provided such a great experience that I booked a second tour solo later in the week - the Peacock Trail. My guide, Karunya, was so pleasant and had seemingly never ending stories to tell me about the sights we explored together. Her passion for storytelling was abundantly clear. I HIGHLY recommend StoryTrails as wonderful, approachable introduction to Chennai. Their tours are TOP NOTCH!

    We have an excellent trip with our tour operator Five senses. The day trip to Pondicherry was exciting and our guide Kannan ensured we were comfortable , hydrated and well feed. He is also very informative. I recommend to use this company. We had a great day out.

    Sundari is a lovely woman and a excellent teacher! It was so much fun to be at her place. She was very flexibel at her schedule. Course booking was very easily and communicaton fast. So we can highly recommend this cooking experience. Martin & Maja
