Dudhsagar Falls is absolutely breathtaking, and once you’re there, it’s impossible to resist taking a dip in the waterfall, so carrying a change of clothes is a good idea. If you’re traveling with kids or have specific food preferences, it’s best to bring your own breakfast since the options are limited. The lunch at the spice plantation, however, is much better and adds to the experience. He had a good knowledge of the birds in the area and showed us some great ones - including the drongo, and great egret. We stopped by a few beautiful churches and the tour ended with a spectacular church visit to the oldest church in Goa. The tour was very flexible as it was only us in the group - and he was very acomodating. Petulla is a lovely friendly guide who obviously knows the history of Panaji very well. - Faiqa S2 contributionsWe had a nice tour of south Goa and saw some beautiful places including churches, temples and even a mosques. The visit to the spice plantation was very informative and topped off with some very delicious food at the end! Our tour guide Ms. was very knowledgeable and a great guide. She went above and beyond to explain the history of places we saw and and to answer our questions. She also got us some extra delicacies than were not on the menu at the plantation. I also liked the fact that we were not pushed to buy things but rather left at our own will to buy or not to buy.. Xavier is a passionate Goan and really made the day interesting and entertaining. His knowledge and extremely good English made the day very enjoyable. We recently joined the Margao City Walk, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Pankaj and his incredible team. Our journey began at the Holy Spirit Church, where Pankaj captivated us with fascinating insights into the history of the church and the surrounding architecture.
Throughout the two-hour walking tour, we explored over 400 years of history, learning about Goa’s evolution from its early settlers to the present day. Pankaj’s knowledge and storytelling skills brought the past to life, making every moment engaging. We also discovered the significance behind the colorful buildings, intricate designs, and the social hierarchy reflected in the architecture—details we would have otherwise missed!
The time flew by, and we are now excited to explore more experiences based on the team’s recommendations.
Once again, thank you, Soul Travelling, for making our holiday even more memorable!
