Our Featured sort order ranks tours, activities, and experiences by several factors including the revenue generated by Tripadvisor from these bookings, your individual user browsing history and preferences while using Tripadvisor, the frequency of user clicks generally, and the volume and quality of customer reviews. Occasionally, newly listed offerings may be prioritized and appear higher in the list. The specific placement of these new listings may vary.
We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
Pola was awesome! She had so much energy and was so personable! She described each food item in detail and made you look forward to eating it! She was right too ! The food was excellent and all so unique! We were stuffed when we left! Her knowledge of Austin and the history behind the restaurants added to our enjoyment! Would highly recommend!
Learned interesting tales of Austin, some I’ve never heard and some that were not so new but filled in the gaps. Certainly gave us a new perspective of Austin. The tour guide was excellent and very theatrical, in a good way.
Jax was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable about Austin. She gave great recommendations for restaurants, music and shopping places. Had a great time. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Great way to get to experience the night life of Austin, in terms of live music events. Our tour guide made sure we got to see a little bit of everything which was greatly appreciated.
This was such a fun excursion! The BBQ at Salt Lick was delicious and the two wineries were just the right amount for an afternoon tasting. Jax, our guide, was so friendly and gave great recommendations for ordering at Salt Lick and for finding other activities/restaurants around Austin to suit everyone's taste. I liked the group size as well, as it gave everyone the opportunity to chat and get to know one another. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Austin.
We were trying to find something to do on a rainy day during our trip to Austin and we weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived at Wonderspaces. Needless to say we wound up staying here for over two hours! Each exhibit was incredible and we love that you could interact with each one. It was such a fun and cool experience. Highly recommend!
This is a great way to get an overview of Austin! If you are new to the city, I would strongly recommend doing this tour on your first day or two in town, as it really helps get you oriented to the city. Morpheus was our tour guide, and he was friendly, funny, and gave great information and recommendations. We were new to e-bikes, but with a quick tutorial from Morpheus, both my husband and I found them easy and fun to ride.
Pete did a spectacularly great job!! He was safety first and very knowledgeable on the whole ride. We would highly recommend this tour. Friends from Michigan
Mike was right on time and an enjoyable guide. We drove around Austin for an hour then boarded a pontoon boat with plastic chairs and a boat captain who “keeps Austin weird”. We saw a few bats but it was apparently not the huge event we hoped for. Apparently, August is the most flyable month for massive movements of bats. The view from the boat was ideal, and I doubt those standing on the bridge saw much at all. A bit “cheesy” but something we’ve wanted to see.
This is a terrific tour of the Austin area. We purchased the hop on/off feature. Got off the bus at the LBJ Presidential library and toured and the bus arrived to pick us up right on time! Jason was the host and he did a great job with stories and facts about the city. It helped us to determine what else we wanted to do.
