What travellers are saying
- stevewilhiteFort Worth, TX919 contributionsBeautiful lake water. Best I have probably seen anywhere. Enjoyable breakfast at the restaurant at the Lodge. Beach areas of the lake could be nicer. Plenty of picnic spots. Nice gift shops. Friendly park rangers. Worth a return.Written 9 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PlattonianFort Worth, TX653 contributionsThere is a short hike from the parking lot to the tower that is not handicap accessible. The tower itself is not handicap accessible. The tower was meant to be a vacation house for the Governors of Oklahoma, although none stay here. It is currently a museum to the CCC and FDR's New Deal.Written 25 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- okiesooner09Oklahoma361 contributionsFree Admission. The museum is in the old National Guard building. It covers the history of the town and the surrounding area. There are lots of old west artifacts and a separate building full of vintage farm machinery. The museum also houses the Ardmore Military Memorial Museum, which is outstanding. There are exhibits for every war. Uniforms from many countries. There is lots of informative text describing each item. They have a huge military library.Written 4 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- researchmommaRobinson, TX23 contributionsPlayground was nice but needed more mulch. Pickleball courts were professional looking and had great shade areas! Walking trails were nice too! Great family time outside!!Written 2 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PlattonianFort Worth, TX653 contributionsDoesn't look like much from the outside, but it's very big once you get inside (like a TARDIS!). They have over 80 vendors. You might find a little something, you never know. These places can be hit or miss in terms of finding a treasure.Written 25 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Althea BArdmore, OK28 contributionsThe Convention is always so neat and clean, you always enjoy anything you go there for. They have any size room that you would need, for a small gathering or a monstrous size eventWritten 30 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- E J Hyre12 contributionsVery disappointed Gold Mountain does not enforce wearing Mask correct and stop
smoking in your casino - Employees have even stated smoking needs to be ban to help protect our health and customers. I consider this a emergency !!Written 15 November 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Cathy S31 contributionsI was very impressed - there is SO much to do. I took my 11-year-old niece and she was the oldest kid there, but she THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! Highly recommend for probably anywhere from age 1 (great little kiddo area) to 12. The hay maze was Humongous! And so many other cute things - I kept turning around and seeing something I hadn't noticed before! Very impressive set-up.Written 7 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- okiesooner09Oklahoma361 contributionsWe read about this doll collection in an old magazine. The collection is housed in specially built cabinets in the Ardmore Library. Ask at the front desk and they will lend you a hardbound book that describes each doll. It is a very impressive collection of vintage, antique dolls.Written 4 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PlattonianFort Worth, TX653 contributionsMy husband and daughter ended up playing mini-golf here. Affordable activities: not just mini golf, but can also rent a kayak or paddle board. This establishment is located right outside the State Park's Lodge.Written 25 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- northtexasmbaDenton, TX32 contributionsDecent place to rent a boat and hang out on the lake for an afternoon. The marina has a little duck feeding area and fish feeding area out front. The kids love that. It has a general store type with a lot more stuff that I've ever seen outside of a convenience store. We did spend about 30 minutes trying to get checked into the boat, while the young guys on the pier were working hard trying to get boats and jet ski's in and out, an older lady (owner / manager?) seemed to pay attention to some customers and not to others (us). She really seemed to enjoy fly swatting even though the door next to her was wide open letting more in. It wasn't swamped but it was somewhat busy. But still it would help to take care of paying customers before fixing pizza for what seemed like family members (from the way she talked to them). Excellent parking / pay by phone system though!Written 31 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Daniel OArdmore, Oklahoma, United States6 contributionsThis warm and inviting gallery is positioned in a great area of downtown Ardmore that is becoming quite the main street.Written 4 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tracy leigh2 contributionsMy family absolutely loved this place!! It was so much fun and the environment felt safe which was one of my concerns! Can't wait to go back!Written 22 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kenneth B2 contributionsI was here for a concert by the Quebe Sisters, progressive Western Swing Band, who gave a great performance of old standard from Bob Wills to the Mills Brothers. the 3 sisters all play fiddle (violin) and sing in 3 part harmony like the Andrews sisters and the Mills brothers. They can get down on a Bob Wills tune, and then sing in 3 part harmony on an old standard from the 40s 50s, era. The Center also has a gallery displaying fine art from regional and local artists, most recentlyWritten 12 May 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Althea BArdmore, OK28 contributionsThey have a great Pastor (Walt Spradling) and Praise & Worship team. They have Sunday School at 9:45 am for all ages. Church starts at 10:45 Am, and there is a VERY active Children's Church as well. Sunday it starts at 6 PM, and Wednesday nights starts at 7, with Children's Church also.Written 30 January 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
