Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I started going to the Athens Farmers Market decades ago when it brought people together on the old airport runway, now long-gone under tennis courts and a skateboard park. Now the largest year-round farmer's market in the state is about to move again. But what will always be a constant is the opportunity to access healthy local foods and the rich local community of vendors and customers. It is a meeting place, a crossroads for the diverse city and county, university and farmer, student and older adult communities to come together. So bring a bag for carrying home vegetables, local honey, fantastic bread and funky Avalanche pizza creations, herbs, soap, and naturally some local tortilla chips and popcorn.

If you like wine and a great outside experience, this is your place. We got an excellent bottle of Red Wine and enjoyed the scenery.

In downtown Athens, worth the search. Exceedingly great variety of sausage heaven. They even had Cleveland Stadium Mustard!

I met my sister to tour the art exhibit. The fiber arts were amazing and the venue was great. The gift shop had local artist pieces and books about the area that made it the perfect stop and day out. Loved the fabric tea cups display.

Was there for a late lunch so not busy at all. Huge outdoor area that looks like it would be fun in the evening. Sandbox for the kids. Mushroom pizza was good but on the expensive end. Rabbit Stack beer was delicious.

The centerpiece of this state park is a pretty lake with a nice swimming area and a trail surrounding the lake. There is also a maze of additional trails in the park, which can get a bit confusing if you don't have a trail map.

The review is going to be unfair. We went to visit the museum and found out it was closed. We did visit one of the cemeteries on the grounds .There was lots of unmarked graves of patients . We did drive around the grounds there were lots of cool buildings on the grounds . Would have loved to see the museum.

Can’t sing the praises of this place enough! Delicious drinks, some of the friendliest staff you’ll meet in t here area, and all of it was home brewed and natural. There’s food on the menu but we did not try, as we couldn’t stay too long. I absolutely recommend going!

The beer selection is really good and very reasonably priced. There is a small bar area inside and an outdoor patio as well. They don't serve food but they have a food truck with some eclectic food.

This is an off-campus program run by Ohio University (hence the Athens OH mailing address) But rest assured that the performances are in Dublin. Currently in the Abbey Theater at the Rec Center. But planning on a purpose built location east of the river in coming seasons.

The actors and direction are top notch. We attended Caroline or Change and Midsummers Night Dream and there were many NYC credits in the cast.

There are no bad seats and the technical directions makes for a flawless production.

We enjoyed our visit to Random House Antiques. They have some antique things and quite a few unique things. We look forward to visiting again when we are in the area.

I walk my dog, ride my bike, it's quiet and restful. There exist a dog park, baseball Diamonds, mile markers on the trails. Beautiful oasis from the town. On Weekends it might get additional people, however during the week, only a handful of people are in the park. I feel like I have this great park to myself,
