Not only did we learn about cultural heritage of the town, he shared the agricultural activities and showed us all the corners of Balik Pulau. My friends and I from Germany really enjoyed exploring this side of Penang through the tour.

This was the highlight of our trip to Georgetown. Our guide, Mr Ash, was perfect. He spoke welll, had a deep understanding of the various cultures of Georgetown and capped it off with a great sense of humour. Just by chance, I got to know the other guides a bit, and they were also fun. The market tour in the morning was a great way to learn some history about Penang and the ingredients being used. We shared a very tasty local breakfast next to the markets. The cooking school was very clean and spacious. The Amy and the team take their time to teach you how to cook delicious authentic Malaysian food, and are some of the nicest people we have met on our holiday. Definitely will recommend any one wishing to know about local Penang stuffs to join her tours ! The family had a wonderful time !

- qtown bear6 contributionsA very enjoyable tour. Brandon is a great host who put his small group of strangers at ease straight away. We had an adventure filled with delicious food, good company and fascinating insights of culture and history.
It was not only a highlight of our Penang stay but it gave us confidence to order and eat at local spots. We returned to the Ayam ros, chicken samosa and Char Koay Teow spots he introduced us to. The meeting spot even became our cold drink oasis when we were in that area.

- RoohiDubai, United Arab Emirates3 contributionsPenang Hill is a must visit for all tourists. The rainforest is rich in flora and fauna. We hired a car to take us to the botanical gardens. From the gardens we hired a private jeep available at the entrance of the garden, to take us to the penang hill.
The place can be crowded with tourists. However the Habitat and the rainforest walk etc is amazing and the views are fantastic. We travelled as a family and throroughly enjoyed it. We spotted black squirrel and blue bird and monkeys. Drank coffee at the habitat coffee shop. Then a bugee bought us to the starting point. Later we waited for our jeep to come up the hill.
