Very picturesque driving up to Jebel Hafeet. Amazing views of Al Ain. This is a must see site. Many viewing locations going up. Pick a clear day else it will be hazy.

This palace is where Sheikh Zayed spent his early years. There are many rooms to see and the palace is worth exploring. You can see how his family lived in days gone by.

This is a beautiful oasis in the heart of the city. We watched a man climb the date palm trees to retrieve the dates. It's a nice place to relax.

The fort may stand in the centre of Al Ain but you could be forgiven thinking you had stepped back in time. The Fort houses a fascinating collection of photographs of Wilfred Thesiger. He is was an amazing eccentric character that travelled through The Empty Quarter with Bedu people. Stunning life. We had the fort almost to ourselves. Such a fascinating hour or so.

this is the only questionably big mall in Al Ain. it’s family-oriented, slow paced and relaxed. all the services are slow and.. relaxed. the placement inside is also something else (sephora in a tent at the back end, ice rink right in the entrance??) confusing but alrighty.

We enjoyed learning about the history of the people of Al Ain. Very interesting, the story of the oasis. Very clean and easy to get around. The staff were friendly and helpful. A must see.

This is your chance to see camels up close. It was interesting to walk around and soak up some local color.

This is the birthplace of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa. You can learn about his family history in the modern visitor centre. Then see the fort where he spent his childhood.

    Al Jimi Mall الجيمي مول
A very big mall in Al Ain.
    Coffee shops and restaurants.
This mall is in the center of Al Ain therefore it is very busy and crowded. You must have a green pass in the Al Hosn app to enter the Mall. Starbucks is located at the main entrance of the Mall.
Ample parking space is available. Wheelchair accessible.

As a woman, I was never impressed with football- and particularly with stadiums. As they all look pretty much the same.
However I was invited for a match between Al Ain and Al Jazeera at Hazza bin Zayed. It was so enjoyable match as I was fascinated with the stadium. The structure- the lightning - everything was so amazing that I didnt feel 100 something minutes of the game. I was attending the match in VIP part which was really well organized with great food and sitting area.
