- Maowy F32 contributionsWe had a fantastic 15-day (almost 3000 km) cultural trip from Trabzon to Gaziantep with Fatih and Overland Travel. There were many things to see, natural wonders, ancient cities, archeological sites and amazing museums. The people were kind friendly and helpful. We skirted the borders of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iran, and Syria on this trip.
I can't thank Fatih enough for making this experience not only so wonderful, but also so easy. Communication during the planning stages was painless, he was very responsive to questions and flexible. He is very trustworthy. From airport pick up to drop-off, the tour was seamless. Hotel choices can be challenging in this region (limited infrastructure, a lot of smokers), but he chose what we felt to be the best and most convenient locations. We also had a home stay experience in Van where we were able to interact with the locals in a more personal way. Fatih is a very knowledgeable guide - not only with regard to architecture and history, but also the local culture.
We felt very safe during the entire trip. There were many checkpoints especially in the border areas, but it did not bother us one bit.
Special shout out to our driver, Recep - even though there was a language barrier, we thoroughly enjoyed his company. He was warm, funny and knew where to find the best food. The food that we ate on this trip was top-rate and mostly inexpensive.

All was great and the program was flexible, allowing us to choose a route that matched our desired level of difficulty. Elvira proved to be an excellent organizer, always staying in touch and responding promptly to all our questions. - Jamie LVancouver, Canada5 contributionsI was in Fethiye with a group of friends and Akdeniz Adventures arranged a six-hour boat trip for us out of Ölüdeniz. The scenery was spectacular - water doesn't get more turquoise than that! We stopped at three different spots for swimming and snorkelling. I liked that it felt like just the right amount of time in each place without feeling rushed. The sea is so salty you can literally just lie back and recline in it - so relaxing! I'm not a super confident snorkelled (seasickness...) but some of the spots were really calm and I enjoyed floating around and looking at the the fish and sea urchins. (We brought our own snorkelling gear, but there were also pool noodles on the boat.). The captain was really friendly and the crew served us drinks (for purchase) and lunch. There was plenty of shade on the boat - great as we had lots of kids with us - and comfortable benches and mats to lie on on the upper deck. I was grateful it wasn't as loud and crowded as the "party boats" around us. It was just our group on the boat, but I was aware that this was a very doable trip in terms of "social distancing", as vacations during COVID take some creativity. He is very knowledgeable, kind, l liked his pace, you do not feel rushed and enjoy your moment. - Raouf K1 contributionI repeatedly asked for a large size car/van and picked a specific one (confirmed by then via Whatsup) to fit 4 persons with 4 large bags and 4 small ones. They delivered a small car that did not fit half of our bags plus the delivery driver requested that he join us to drop him somewhere. This was at 10:00PM in Fethiya/Turkey.
I asked their rep Mustafa @ +905445919936 for the car that I ordeded and hw did not care. His driver took the car and left us at the airport without transportation. No explanation and no apology.
