- Jean-Michél D1 contributionThe tour itself was quite a sight, Turkiye is famed for its turquoise waters and it got proven times and times over throughout the day with the 12 Islands tour. At all the islands there was extremely little littering and the water was completely see through at the beaches and you could watch the fish and even take pictures of them if you liked.
At times certain procedures were a bit incoherent for a second, especially on the arrival and departure, but the staff was always solution oriented and didnt try to pull any shady moves when it comes to payment as one might be afraid of.
The atmosphere on the boat was very calm and the food (you could choose between fish or chicken as a base) was very tasty. Great picnic lunch and a small friendly group added to the enjoyment. - Ryan RSwansea, UK26 contributionsNice 7 hr boat trip around the area on the Grand Vega boat, visiting butterfly valley beach (it's a trek into the valley to see butterflies which we didn't do as it was too warm), aquarium bay, st Nicholas island, camel beach and another bay which I've forgotten the name of. We enjoyed having dips in the sea and jumping off the boat too.
Just note this isn't any different to the other boats that also visit the bays in the area, just that it is one of the quieter boats. We could see the pirate ship themed boats are more for the partying people when we were in the vicinity of them!
This boat does play music (speakers at the front) and does try to entertain those on the top deck.
The staff were friendly and even come to you to sell drinks. Lunch was good (chicken/fish with rice and salad). There were signs about not bringing food and drink on board but we still brought water as it was a hot day and I wasn't paying for water. Total bill I had was 1650 lira for soft drinks and snacks (family of 4).
The boat left after 10.30 as it was waiting for more people to come on board. It looked full but seemed to be enough seats to go around. Get there early though to get the best seats.

Takes approximately 7 hours in total. Beach is lush and the boat trip is fire!!!
Make sure you sit/lay on the front for the best views. Keep eyes out for wild life.
The mud baths you don't get enough time with so be fast but be prepared water is cold AF! - Natalie MHurghada, Egypt147 contributionsWe were collected at our hotel 30 minutes later than the agreed time. We were taken by minibus to the harbour where the boat was waiting for us. We sat on the middle deck on comfy seats and there was a beautiful breeze once we started out so not too hot. The highlight of the trip was seeing a beautiful large turtle. The crew were friendly. The bbq as advertised was not a bbq but food prepared on the boat which was pretty naff but just about edible. I had asked for chicken but it was like a large chicken nugget in breadcrumbs with a mashed up chicken centre...not nice at all. The couscous and potato salad was nice. My sister went for the fish which she said tasted muddy. The food was a let down hence only 4 stars. We really enjoyed the change of scenery and being able to get off at little coves for a swim. Make sure to take towels and sun cream and maybe a snack of crisps or something. Soft drinks, beers and wine available as were magnum ice creams all at an additional cost. We were lucky to have been with a great bunch of people that made the experience even more memorable. Overall an amazing experience and adventure that we got to share with great people.
