Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Trek6966245 contributionsGreat location to shops and restaurants
Best to avoid perfume sellers and the ice cream stalls. An ice cream can easily cost £7.50.
Spice or anything sold by weight will cost you and are mostly available in the UK.
Plenty of decent knock off but you need to haggle hard as some don't like to discount
Take GBP as everything is priced in pounds

The locals take advantage of travelers (but that’s throughout turkey) in terms of water, shade, “renting” a bench or a chair. It wouldn’t surprise me if you put your stuff on a rock and that rock was “owned” by a local and you could rent it for a bit.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Carol A SMarietta, GA4,153 contributionsDarbogz is a rocky peninsula jutting into the Mediterranean. The eastern side forms an irregular bay with clear turquoise water lapping the white limestone shore, framed by green pine forest of the Taurus Mountains. There are several rocky beaches. The best way to access the beaches is by boat (rentals and trips available from nearby Ölüdeniz). The Lycian Way runs several hundred meters above the bay as it winds from Kayakoy to Ölüdeniz; sunset views over the bay are superb from Kayakoy summit. The bay is much more secluded than nearby Ölüdeniz town and beach. Hiking on Darboğaz peninsula takes about 3 hours on a circular trail with lots of ups and downs. There are spectacular views and small bays where you can take a swim. Sturdy footwear, a hat and lots of water is advised. There is no charge to access the bay, beaches or trails.Written 11 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
