Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Birol BaliIstanbul, Türkiye1,086 contributionsSaklıkent National Park is located in the southwest of Turkey, within the boundaries of Muğla province. It is a well-known park for its stunning natural beauty and is especially famous for outdoor activities such as hiking, mountaineering, and rafting. The Saklıkent Canyon, one of the park's most notable features, is the second-longest canyon in Turkey.
The park is rich in local flora and fauna, making it an excellent spot for nature enthusiasts. Its cool mountain air and abundant oxygen make it a popular destination during the hot summer months. The area is also significant historically, as it lies on the ancient Lycian Way, with nearby ruins adding to its appeal.
In addition to canyon trekking, visitors can enjoy the rivers and streams around the area, offering scenic views and a refreshing experience. Walking through the canyon and spending time in the cool waters are some of the main activities that make this park unique.Written 13 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Best to avoid perfume sellers and the ice cream stalls. An ice cream can easily cost £7.50.
Spice or anything sold by weight will cost you and are mostly available in the UK.
Plenty of decent knock off but you need to haggle hard as some don't like to discount
Take GBP as everything is priced in pounds

One of the highlights of our trip to Fethiye/ Oludeniz/Kaş. The cable car was great and the views were incredible. Once we arrived at the 1200m location, we enjoyed seeing the paragliders taking off. Quite a beautiful view from the restaurant as well. We loved spending time at the restaurant. I highly recommend it if you are going to the area.Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I guess atleast we can say we have been there and done it.
the experience may have been completely different if we did it by boat and was at the bottom of the valley.Written 3 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cristina G11 contributionsBlue Lagoon is very beautiful, but...
Most of the families are coming there with the children because the water is shalow so it can be a lot of crying and shouting. Me, personally I left from the beach because of that because I couldn't enjoy it in peace. Also another thing that I disliked but I ignored it and it didn't disturbed me so much (because I knew already from other reviews that I read) is that the turkish men will be staring at you. All of them. 😳🙄
The guys with the sunbeds to Blue Lagoon are aggressive and rude, so don't you "dare" to sit on a bed without paying first. They shouted at me because of that. 4 men against a single women because I dared to sit without paying first.
Shalow water it can be good for some and not so good for others.
The water is very, very clean and crystal clear. The colour is amazing. The next day, I stopped on the beach before the Blue Lagoon, where the water was calm, not too deep and not too shalow and it was beautiful. I didn't get sunbed anymore, fewer people, and I enjoyed it a lot more.
There are plenty of restaurants.
I recommend some water shoes if you have. Is very rocky.Written 16 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jellykelly_7Southampton168 contributionsBeautiful beach, with blue water, not too crowded. Would of given 5* but sunbeds were quite expensive, 600tl, for 2 with umbrella, plus 180tl for parking. But overall, it's a very clean, nice beach.Written 13 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Joseph G6 contributionsThe most perfect water I’ve ever been in. Beach itself is poor. Lots of little stones, no natural shade, small area that’s populated. The locals take advantage of travelers (but that’s throughout turkey) in terms of water, shade, “renting” a bench or a chair. It wouldn’t surprise me if you put your stuff on a rock and that rock was “owned” by a local and you could rent it for a bit.Written 16 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jenny cFethiye, Türkiye83 contributionsThis is an amazing free public space, well done to the local council for such a well thought out investment. Perfect for couples, families or solo. It truly has something for everyone. It is beautifully planted, plenty to see and experience. There is also a well marked out cycle path and gym equipment if you’re feeling energetic.Written 2 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Yvonne O2 contributionsWhat a beautiful little gem of a hotel! Kemal and Erston made us so welcome. This boutique hotel is the perfect place to hide from the world. The views are stunning and there seems to be a stillness to be enjoyed. The owners lent us swim shoes, beach towels, and allowed us to experience kayaking and paddle boarding under the expert supervision of Kemal. The hotel is pristine and filled with a warm welcome. Sovalye Hotel is the perfect hideaway, whilst being so accessible!Written 18 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
