We met lots of locals who were really chatty and gave us lots of tips of where to visit and where to avoid in Turkey/Fethiye.
Eric and all of the crew were very friendly and helped to make the experience one we will remember. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Ryan RSwansea, UK27 contributionsNice 7 hr boat trip around the area on the Grand Vega boat, visiting butterfly valley beach (it's a trek into the valley to see butterflies which we didn't do as it was too warm), aquarium bay, st Nicholas island, camel beach and another bay which I've forgotten the name of. We enjoyed having dips in the sea and jumping off the boat too.
Just note this isn't any different to the other boats that also visit the bays in the area, just that it is one of the quieter boats. We could see the pirate ship themed boats are more for the partying people when we were in the vicinity of them!
This boat does play music (speakers at the front) and does try to entertain those on the top deck.
The staff were friendly and even come to you to sell drinks. Lunch was good (chicken/fish with rice and salad). There were signs about not bringing food and drink on board but we still brought water as it was a hot day and I wasn't paying for water. Total bill I had was 1650 lira for soft drinks and snacks (family of 4).
The boat left after 10.30 as it was waiting for more people to come on board. It looked full but seemed to be enough seats to go around. Get there early though to get the best seats.

He was also considerate - checking I was ok, took fantastic photos, videos & 360s. It was all very well organised. We also liked lunch and warm atmosphere in tour ! Eren even found the shoe of my friend in very cold river!
I wish every tour company is like this ! But no..we are lucky to find Aslar agency Kas!higly recommended !!

You can only do the full day if you have previously done the half day as Serkan needs to know you can drive the buggy properly.
The full day trip was absolutely amazing. We drove up Babadag mountain to 1500 then had an exhilarating downhill with hairpin bends. We saw some amazing scenery and stopped at an ancient city to explore and have a snack of cake and juice
Serkan’s wife is very knowledgeable on the history of the ancient cities and Lycians and gave us a very interesting talk while we were having our snack.
We then drove through the most beautiful countryside. All on dirt tracks with a couple of very sandy parts which were hilarious as you couldn’t see a thing.
We stopped for lunch at a lovely restaurant overlooking Butterfly Valley where we could choose anything we wanted from the menu.
After a delicious lunch we drove on road down to a beautiful beach where we had about an hour to swim, sunbathe, have a drink or relax before we got back on the buggies and were dropped at our hotel in Oludeniz as we were passing the gate anyway. Serkan’s wife then drove our buggy back to their base. This was much appreciated.
You do get dirty which is all part of the experience and lots of photos were taken which are included in the full day package.
If you’ve done the half day don’t hesitate to book for the full day. Oh because you’ll then push customers to change the day, you’ll spend their time and will not do refund until it’s done through viator. And of course you’ll refund in liras in a week or so when it gets devaluated for another 10% or so.
