The stalls that are more organised with the fake goods will try charging u far more than those that aren't for (what I found) the same stuff! They will usually start with 3x the price they will take. Try not to get too interested as they will even bring their mates from nearby stall to try and give u the hard sell, try walking away....... they'll tend to call u back and offer you a lesser price. - Ideal for shopping. Especially best place for genuine copies. There are lots of leather shop and traditional spices and turkish delights. But don’t forvet to shop from stores with a price tag.
- Always maske bargain with spices and delight shops. Check your bill if you paid with your card.
- Never trust a salesman if he says ‘’don’t worry i will make you a good price.” at the beginning.
- Try all of the t-shirts if you are bigger than 2XL before the salesman put into the bag.
- Never shop from a salesman who is jumping on you while you are walking around.

- M&M354 contributionsWonderful service! Celal showed us many types of rugs! Incredible knowledge of the history of all the pieces! Served us tea and water throughout the process. Very up front and honest fair prices! I will definitely return!! I highly recommend Celal we bought 5 pieces from him.

Helpful but not too pushy. Reminded me of the old turkey when i visited some time ago. Mum in the background making sure everything is as should be. Sadly one of the dishes we bought got broken on the way home. Been back soon to purchase more. - Margot PKorora, Australia1,109 contributionsA very slick guide takes you through the whole hand making carpet process, you see girls making woolen and silk carpets. Fascinating. You then walk through passages with just the most magnificent carpets. All great so far.
Then the hard sell starts, three or more taking it in turns to press a sale. Like us , you will be polite, drink the tea, and eventually buy something (we landed up with prayer rug size before they shut up!!!).
They say the money goes to the village co-op, and we have convinced ourselves we were charitable.

The price/quality is great, if you are in Fethiye, visit the store!
