We found ourselves with an extra day in Albany because of flight delays and I found this experience. Our boys are 12 and 9, the elder one being a history buff and the younger one not so much. However, the entire family thought this tour was simply awesome and were so happy we got to see it. We had a tour guide, Nora, all to ourselves. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and also knew how to communicate with the kids to keep them engaged. I’d highly recommend visiting the USS Slater! So cool to see this piece of history up close.

We had a fantastic visit to the State Capitol in Albany! The tour was incredibly informative, providing deep insights into the rich history and functioning of the government. The building itself is stunning, with impressive architecture and beautifully maintained interiors. The surrounding area is equally lovely, making for a pleasant and scenic visit.

This tour is definitely worth a stop in Albany. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a beautiful place to explore, the State Capitol offers something for everyone. Highly recommended!

Very broad collection with excellent displays and curatorship. The art of the Native Americans from New York, especially from the Iroquois Confederacy, was featured in a tremendously varied and interesting exhibit. Being from Utica ourselves, we loved the Henry Di Spirito exhibit... beautiful group. There are many technological, historical and natural history exhibits if that's your preference. Don't miss my uncle's rock contributions in the Geology collection!

The tour was worth it because it was reasonably priced, the guide was knowledgeable, and the tour did not just force Alexander Hamilton and his wife. Some areas in the neighborhood did look questionable but I would not let that stop me from visiting again.

I was pleasantly impressed by this museum. I was on a work trip and had to burn a few hours during the day. The well dressed gentleman working the front desk was incredibly excited to tell me about the museum and all its exhibits. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything there and took the time to ensure I saw certain things. Upon finishing, I visited the gift shop. In my mind, gift shops are usually full of junk made in China that is just a gimmick to get money. Pleasantly surprised, their gifts and products were very well thought out. Many local items, many items from local artists and very intricate things. I spent well over $120.

On a very hot day in May, Washington Park was a perfect place to visit. The 'Park Lake' and water feature, and the many trees helped create a very relaxing and cooling experience. The water was so clear you easily see the fish in the lake. Tulips were still in bloom. Many pathways for walking, and places to park for ease of access in the park. Lots of benches to sit and reflect.

I didn’t get to go in. The outside is a nice place for a walk or sit to read. I see people there exercising. The museum is nearby and the parks is a great place for people watching.

This mall wasn't too bad. There were not too many empty shop units and the range was acceptable. The restaurant offerings were quite good. We visited the Poughkeepsie Galleria which was worse and the Palisades Centre in West Nyack which was larger but no better.

Came here in the morning, pretty cool place, definitely felt futuristic and different. The Egg was the most interesting. Didn't have enough time to explore the Museum unfortunately, next time. I had no idea this was here just came across while doing a walkabout, very happy that I did find it. Highly recommend coming here.

Great spot for a I Love NY selfie is here too!

We took the blue trail walk & it’s a very nice & easy route. Trail was an easy trip with 2 little kids. Definitely take water with you as there’s nothing along the way. Would recommend going

Great historical venue. Interesting to learn not only about the Underground Railroad and the roles of Stephen and Harriet Myers, but also got to learn about the museum project itself. A lot of really important historical artifacts.
