Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- ronit gaikwadMumbai, India3,632 contributionsThere are various kinds of museums across the country. Still, when it comes to automobiles, especially vintage cars from the 19th and 20th centuries, nothing matches the collection at the Gedee Car Museum.
The entry ticket is around Rs. 250 to enter the museum, but you can understand why this is famous once inside. In the initial passageway, there are posters and narratives of all kinds that show how the wheel was invented and how various chariots were used by kings and emperors worldwide for battles and traveling purposes. This also includes narratives about various Indian kings.
Once you move further inside, you will see a small hall showing a visual comparison via a simulated video of the fastest globally available cars. Moving further inside, you will find models of all the cars that have ever been produced and are iconic from the 19th century. The companies include everything from Ford, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, and the like. Cars from the 1940s produced by Peugeot and Citroen are also on display. Even a Hispano Suiza and Limousine is on display. Cadillac Seville 1993, one of the many iconic cars of the century, can also be found in the collection.
While the museum's ground floor displays all cars from foreign companies, the first floor is dedicated to the Indian automobile industry. All cars ever produced by Indian automobile companies are on display, including Tata, Maruti, etc. The premier Padmini, which has ruled the roads of Mumbai as the Kaali Peeli taxi for decades, is also on display. And so is the Maruti 800, the best-selling car for decades.
Thus, overall, if you are in Coimbatore, you should in no way miss visiting the museum, especially if you are an auto fanatic.Written 19 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I visited Black Thunder, a popular amusement park, and was shocked when a staff member made a derogatory comment about my language and identity. She said, "No Tamil, no Tamil Nadu. Why are you living in TN?"

Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - King10 contributionsDrenching in waterfalls was nice and fun. Loved it. But the entrance fee to waterfalls is Rs. 50 [cash alone is accepted] / per head and even before that, when we entered through car into the Arch entrance they charged Rs. 230 totally for 6 persons. Toilet was not maintained properly, no lights and was not clean. Hence dress changing was difficult after bathing in the falls. But very close to the falls there was another dress changing area [after entering the paid Rs. 50 entrance] I don't know about that dress changing room. We also had space for parking near the falls.Written 29 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
