Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a great time, we had a great experience with our tour guide Anand. He was very knowledgeable and very nice, he was very welcoming and informative about Fiji and its culture. He is genuinely a great person who made us feel at home and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Anand as a tour guide who has 40 years of experience, and if you want experience Fiji at its best this is the way to go

So glad we booked this excursion. Better than we hoped. Our guide was brilliant, lots of interesting knowledge and good humour made for a great day out. The markets were interesting, the temple was beautiful and our guide informed us about the Hindu religion which was truly interesting. The sleeping giant mountain and the orchid gardens were so beautiful, we took too many photos. The walk through the gardens to the top of the hill was so humid we look liked we'd been swimming, but soooo worth it. The mudbaths and thermal pools were the perfect way to finish off. Glad we were taken to the ones run by locals.
If you're wondering whether its worth it, I can assure you that you willl not be disappointed!. But, you may be a bit hungry at the end. Maybe take some cash and buy some local fruit at the market to keep you going

It was the best way to quickly survey and get an impression about the various topological and geographical features of the the main Fiji island.

During our tour of Fiji, we were fortunate to have Anand as our guide. His extensive knowledge and attentive demeanor made our experience truly memorable. Anand not only addressed all our inquiries but also provided comprehensive insights into every aspect of the tour, including the Fiji village, Sleeping Giant, and Mud Pool. His fluency in multiple languages added an extra layer of accessibility, ensuring that all members of our group felt included and engaged throughout the journey. We are immensely grateful for Anand's professionalism and dedication, which undoubtedly enhanced our exploration of this beautiful destination

Great your guide. Lovely day. Tour says we will go the the Rum Distillery, we didn't, that hasnt happened for some time. We did go for a drive by the sugar mill. Saw trucks unloading in a precarious manner. 2 different markets where we could buy souvenirs at realistic prices. The village tour was good, again good prices on beadwork etc. Good history lesson and Deo was happy to explain the history of Fiji.
Good comfortable van, good aircon and a safe driver.

My friend Carl and I spent the day hiking with Peni after he picked us up and took us to the trailhead. He shared a tremendous amount of history and knowledge of the area as we hiked. We were lucky as the rose apples were in season and provided a much needed energy boost. 100% if you love hiking, waterfalls, and learning book Peni. Great guy and we learned so much.

What a wonderful way to spend time in Nadi! If you’re looking for something to do other than island hopping and souvenir shopping, where you’ll see stunning, lush scenery and spend time with local people, this is the tour for you. Peni’s adult son Penu and daughter Emily were the guides for myself and another solo traveller (who was good company too!). They were lovely, and great at setting the right pace and making sure we were enjoying the hike. I found the hike to the waterfall (~75 mins up, but faster down!) a bit strenuous so I wouldn’t recommend this tour for younger children, or anyone not basically fit, but you can totally set your own pace and take your time with plenty of stops to view the increasingly gorgeous scenery. Plus you are rewarded with a cooling waterfall at the top! The village lunch was very special, to be welcomed into someone’s home, and the food made with fresh local vegetables and eggs was delicious. Highly recommend this tour.

We booked our taxi and were quickly contacted about our wait time. Our Driver Chris quickly picked us up in 15mins way ahead of time. He was very friendly and helpful.

Hiking the highest peak in Fiji is no easy feat. The mountain is in a rain forest, therefore expect some rain and muddy terrain. Peni lead this hike and went above and beyond to ensure my safety at all times. The car ride to the trailhead is fabulous with gorgeous views of the mountainous zone of Fiji. After reaching the summit, we took some well deserved pictures and ate some lunch. We hiked down and was invited to some lemon tea and “pancake bread” with the villagers. This was such an awesome experience! On the ride back to drop me off at my hotel, we were rewarded with a breathtaking sunset. I truly recommend doing this trek. Peni is an amazing and charismatic individual that gives more flavoring to the experience. Driving through the different villages and spending some time with the villagers after the hike, definitely allowed me to appreciate another side of the Fijian way of life, which will always cherish. Thank you Peni for this AMAZING experience!!
I recommend this activity to anyone seeking a full days worth of adventure and a good story to tell 😊.

Our tour guide was a pleasant guy but the tour part consisted of comments like "Here is the Hindu temple. Would you like to go in?" The answer should be no. You are probably going to interrupt someone's prayer and there's really not much to see. Info on the sugar refinery was basic but interesting, unfortunately the guide didn't have enough info to answer questions. We never went into the market but we loved the very first village in Fiji. It was fascinating to hear how the village evolved and how the 850 people still live. Pay the extra for one of the villagers to show you around! Crafts sold are very reasonable. Vuda Marina is beautiful but don't make the mistake of going for a meal. Although we ordered 30 minutes before a bus tour showed up we got our food after. An hour and a half is too long to wait. Food wasn't terrible but not great either. Bring a picnic or just order drinks. Drinks came quickly.
