- Gleny Zapata3 contributionsWe did two tours, and both of them were absolutely amazing. Yazmani led the tour to Isabela Island, and I will never forget the experience we had. The yacht is big, comfortable, and adequate to have a nice and safe trip. He speaks both English and Spanish, so he is always ready to make you feel welcome. The view is spectacular; you can enjoy the breeze, the water, and the spectacular snacks and drinks they serve during the trip. Once we arrived at the island, Yazmani took us snorkeling, and he was not only checking on us all the time, but he took amazing pictures that made this trip unforgettable. I totally recommend this tour to Isabela Island. If you book with Guiding Galapagos you will get better snorkeling gear than the tour operators have on their boats, which helps a lot. The complexities were intense but the experience was amazing. Great hotels, good transportation, delicious food choices, excellent guides, amazing in every way. The snorkeling experience was the highlight of the day, where we swam close to sea lions, sharks, rays and in the middle of fish schools. The guide and the staff were very nice and helpful, the boat and the food were also very good. It starts early with a 40 min bus ride to the canal followed by a 2 hour boat ride to Bartolomeu Island (and some great bird watching from the boat at an island on the way), some hiking at the island to the very top (about 300 steps) where you have the BEST Galapagos’ view!. Then some snorkeling at the BEST Galapagos’ spot (we were able to swim with sharks and penguins) and sooooooo many fish. - David MclainBirmingham, AL3 contributionsWe contacted Stephanie at Guiding Galapagos about an trip to Bartolome Island and she checked with all of the boat owners and found that they were full and this was not possible. She suggested a trip to Floreana. It turned out that this was full and we would have to charter a boat. She was able to put us together with a family of 3 so we could afford ably charter the boat. We had an amazing experience. Stephanie works so hard to make sure everyone gets what they want. I highly recommend her. On and around Floreana we swam with sea lions with our guide Edgar, saw several sharks (hammerhead, black tip), sea turtle, schools of fish. On land, we saw flamingos and lots of blue-footed boobies. Saw a red breasted frigate bird. On the boat we had an delicious lunch. - ColonelWells2 contributionsDavid and Fernando, made this a really memorable trip,tours,boat and taxi connections sorted, so nothing to think about except photographing the wildlife, one tip, bring an underwater camera.you are allocated a couple of restaurants to eat in and the food is good,especially back on the island of Santa Cruz restaurant Nami Nami, all in all a wonderful experience.

My friend and I went with a larger group for a snorkeling trip and had a wonderful time. The sea life was in great abundance. I stopped counting the number small white-tipped sharks we saw. There were fish of all kinds, a few sea turtles and a number of sea lions.
The best experience was snorkeling along and coming face to face with a very young sea lion, Seymour, He rolled onto his side, and I rolled along with him. He just LOOKED at me, for all of about 35 seconds, until someone in our group cried out loudly, "OH LOOK SO CUTE!" and Seymour dashed away. My friend said we were about a foot and a half apart.
Was a completely wonderful trip, maybe the best of our entire time on the Galapagos, except for maybe actually feeding giant tortoises on San Cristobal. Simply an amazing time in some really beautiful water, with no other groups around, at all.

They had everything scheduled and ready to go from start to finish and the tours were amazing. My fiance and I were living in Quito at the time we visited the Galapagos. My parents came down to Ecuador to visit us and experience this once in a lifetime trip. If you are on a budget (and get motion sick and want to stay on land at night like we did) this is the trip for you! The food was amazing and the experiences are some that we will cherish forever.
**The ferry can be VERY ROUGH so it is worth arriving early to get a good seat in the back as well as taking LOTS of dramamine. + The excursions were adventurous and the guides told a lot the nature and animals. We especially liked las Tintoreras and las Grietas.
+ The selected hotels were clean and central.
- The organiser spoke almost any English and never asked us how our tours or transport was when we met her again.
- Island hopping is a bit of an exaggeration as you only visit Santa Cruz and Isabela. The TripAdvisor description says La Loberia.
