- Juan J8 contributionsThe tour bilingually spoken was entertaining and informative, punctual schedules made even more attractive, breakfast and lunch is coutryside style the lnfscape is exuberantly green nd blue waters, climbing up the stairs is a challenge no apt for respiratory conditions or heart conditions people. We got to see Piedra de Penol, take a boat ride across the lake, enjoy a delicious lunch and visit the beautiful town of Guatape. - Sterling C10 contributionsI am having a wonderful experience here with Adriana, our tour guide and Alejo, our driver. We visited Comuna 13, an area once considered very dangerous place, but now has transformed itself with the hard work and efforts of the residents into a vibrant artist community filled with life and activity. I learned a lot from Adriana, and I felt very safe everywhere we visited. The day is still young, and we will be going on a City tour afterwards. It included many surprises and stops: strawberries and cream, tomatoes, cheese and an alpaca farm - which was amazing, you can feed them carrots and walk amongst them! Of course it also included La Manuella, guatape town and the climb up the rock! The bars were a great time and really hit everyone’s different vibe- we did reggaeton, salsa, merengue, bachata, etc. it was for everyone! Highly recommend. Columa 13 was exhilarating !! The cable cars, light-rail, and busses were smooth & clean & easy ! Thankfully, lots of trees for shade.
Colorful street art on every building, every available wall & each with a story. Interesting people, all ages & origins. Fashions & languages from all corners of the globe ! Everyone exploring. Climbing. Smiling. Selling. Party music pumping. Motorcyclists weaving through the crowd & beeping around each corner. Homes & shops cleverly inserted into every crevice. Energetic dancers proudly sharing their passion & a party vibe all the way up the hill ! Escalators most of our way down !! Neon colors in every direction, creative art on every surface. Rooftop bars and killer views. Cocktails & fried favorites every 10 feet !
