Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

- Cristián Martínez BravoChile145 contributionsFounded in 1919, The University of Concepcion is one of the oldest university campuses in Chile. Entering through the Arco de Medicina (Medicine's arch) you will be placed centrally in direction to the center of the campus. I recommend you to visit the Campanil de la Universidad (Campanile structure) located in front of the forum. The place is big, so be careful to not get lost inside it.
Written 28 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We entered the park near the Universidad de Concepción, visited the Mirador Alemán, which is currently being restaured (so we couldn't visit the tower) but we were able to enjoy the view of the city all the way to the bio-bio river mouth (desembocadura). Recent work, cutting down non native species, made this possible and also gives room for the native species to thrive.Written 11 December 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William MIllinois75 contributionsLet me begin by saying that the road to this place is just one huge pothole after another, but once you arrive, it is well worth the effort. The museum was small but interesting as it has items from all over the world, but what made it worth it is the views of where the river meet the ocean! The black sand and cliffs were absolutely breathtaking. The water is very cold, but I wasn’t there to get in. It’s a beautiful place to spend an hour, an afternoon, or a day. I really wish I had had more time!Written 3 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AnvadeKota Kinabalu, Malaysia10 contributionsThe reservation is very beautiful. It is close to the city and it is easy to get there. The entrance facilities are clean and the rangers are very friendly. The trails are interesting, of low and medium difficulty. You can see many birds, large spiders and insects, also huge trees and estuaries. Perfect to go for the day!Written 5 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Katie10 contributionsI arrived at the stadium following a recommendation and upon arriving, noticed it was right by the bus station. Literally right next to it! However, you go inside and the aesthetics of the stadium are something to behold. First off, the seats match the color of the local University and they are spread around in an artsy way, with yellow as the background and blue sort of sprinkled down. The field seemed in great condition. Anyways, definitely a fun little trip especially if you need to use the bus station. If you go see a game, I was told by locals (and then verified so myself), I recommend sitting in the top section as your field of vision is definitely wider.Written 5 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JWSimonConcepcion, Chile28 contributionsA must see in Concepción. The Pinacoteca - Casa del Arte is a small art museum on the University of Concepción campus (near Plaza Peru). The mural is amazing, capturing expressing Latin American history from Precolombian to the 1970s. Excellent for taking pictures, especially the cactus with the Chilean national flower.
On the second floor there is a good collection of late 19th century early 20th century Chilean art--one of the best in the country. There are also rotating expositions.
The museum has a small café with good coffee. The small store is disappointing.Written 15 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The dinosaurs are huge and fun to see, and take silly photos with. There were a lot of families with young kids there, and they were having a blast climbing on and admiring the dinosaurs. The only reason I didn't rate it as "excellent" is because it was kind of small.Written 7 December 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - yvonnecorbett_9San Martin de los Andes, Argentina107 contributionsI had heard that the mall was big but never did I expect it to be so big and have so many of the well known brands, from Zara, Adidas, Boss, Rapsodia, etc. plus Ripley and Falabella.
Several book shops and cinema also.Written 29 May 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Still it was nice to visit - informative exibition and it looked attrative. It is situated in a nice area of the city; Park Equador, so well worth a visit!Written 13 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GerhardConcepcion, Chile138 contributionsRecently renovated, woods with native fauna, lookout points over the towns of Concepción, Talcahuano and Hualpén. Downhill bikers and trash in between, though.Written 25 April 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
