Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Naval Base. The Naval Academy is steeped in history. The driver of our tour car was extremely knowledgeable and interesting.

We had a lovely evening here, walking around, checking out shops and cafes, seeing the sights. We enjoyed the holidays lights up everywhere also. A lot of great history here as well.

We love visiting state capitol buildings when we're traveling as you can learn so much history and get a feel for the differences between all of the states. We did a self-guided tour on our trip to Annapolis and we really enjoyed the Maryland State House. It really is quite a beautiful building and it's actually the oldest state house in continuous operation. It also has the largest wooden dome in the United States constructed without nails, which is a very fun fact. The grounds are very pretty as well and I would recommend touring it to anyone who enjoys US history.

Lots of fun things to do here, we hiked a lot of the paved trails and saw fun art and interesting science installments along the way. Ice skating rink was open when we went and it looked fun, tho we did not partake. The $6 entrance fee is definitely put to good use as its very well maintained here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of this beautifully restored, historic home of one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence!
It was painstakingly restored and the results are stunning.
This includes the outdoor gardens which are lovely.
Our guide (I believe her name is Cathy Schmitt) was wonderful! She is a retired history teacher and the depth & breath of her knowledge of this particular place was impressive.

This charming house helps visitors understand the relative poverty of the wealthy classes in colonial America, presenting a rather charmingly underwhelming “luxury”. Beautifully restored with period furnishings, the almost cramped setting offers two floors of interesting stories, and the shameful relics of slavery. The tour is an hour long and conducted by highly knowledgeable and personable docents with connections to the estate.

This tour is amazing. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. We came away with a great appreciation for the history of Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse.

Beautiful. Sad to see a homeless man sitting on a bench in the yard area. It is a very
    old church.

Jam packed small museum with interactive exhibits on the environment, history of Annapolis area and the Oyster Wars! Knowledgeable staff and a beautiful view of the bay. A related park with walking trails is nearby

This is mostly a park for beach and boat people. We went during the week. It was not crowded and they have a very small nature center. Interesting but not much else to do.
