Go very early! Monkeys won't visit your boat if they are already fed by previous boats. They will be sleeping with their tummies full. Bring bug spray too and cameras.

I had a great experience in the jungle and would always recommend it. Jim was a cool and fun guide who explained us alot and always kept a good mood. Also thanks for the vegan/vegetarian food options. I think day 2 and 3 were by far the best days of the tour! All the national parks I in Costa Rica didn't come close to the experience I had during the jungle tour, the feeling of being on your own and part of the jungle.

We took this tour when we came to Panama. The water was really really low which is no fault of the service just mankind. My little daughter had an amazing time and I have never experiences a cave tour like this before. We were in Panama City and they came and picked us up and dropped us off.

We didn’t know basically anything about Panamá prior to this tour. Eric, our tour guide is very dynamic, friendly and very knowledgeable. While on the tour, Eric provided just enough information to keep us captivated. Eric took us through the entire social spectrum of Panama City. We came to know that like many countries and places in the world, Panama is a very beautiful place. While staying here in Panama City and nearby towns, the people are unbelievably polite and friendly. Eric took us to Miraflores Locks in Panama Canal. We saw a few big ships passing through the Locks in the canal, which was fun to watch. Overall we really enjoyed this tour and will strongly recommend it!

Booked our tour via TUI ( Marella Cruises)
We were met by some of the tribe and were taken to the village in a wooden boat.
The tribe were very welcoming & we felt very privileged to meet them & tour their village, see where & how they lived. It was really interesting to hear about the history of the tribe & their way of life. We were given fresh fruit & the freshest fish I have ever tasted. Totally recommend visiting & we would love one day to return to the village.

Adventures Panama is everything we hoped and more! We had a wonderful experience with them climbing chame, seeing beautiful views, learning some history of Panama, and seeing lots of wildlife! Our tour guide was very informative and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best time. We are going to do the sunset kayaking with them tomorrow and definitely will book with them again! If you are looking to really experience Panama and all that it has to offer, these are the people you want to book with!

Pedro is an excellent guide with a great sense about Panamanian history. We saw the Canal, causeway and the old city . Pedro took time to explain the architecture, the history and the culture etc. Ended up going to an excellent Panamanian Restaurant

This tour was amazing! Joshua was so knowledgeable and told us so many interesting facts about whales. Having a zoologist as your guide is amazing! He had tools and tricks to share, like a microphone to listen to the whales sing, and a drone so he can tell us exactly what is happening from above. We saw at least 5 or 6 different pods of whales, humpbacks and sperm whales. We even saw some dolphins off in the distance. They served us lunch and snacks when we got to the beach and the food was amazing! Joshua served us himself, talk about making sure he took care of us. The beach on Isla Chapera was beautiful, with white sand and crystal clear water. The snorkelling was good, we saw lots of colourful fish and some coral reef. 100% recommend this tour, and we look forward to it again next year! Thanks Joshua!

Our Monkey adventures trip was absolutely amazing, our guide, Oliver, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, his English was excellent and he shared a wealth of knowledge about the history of Panama, the canal, and the plants and animals on the lake. The lake trip was so great!! our captain, Isaac, was friendly and considerate and was able to make sounds of different animals and called the monkeys to us! we saw capuchin, tamarind and howler monkeys, as well as iguanas, many types of birds, and even a sloth! Then we went to the sloth sanctuary and got to see many sloths, an anteater, a butterfly house full of gorgeous butterflies in a lovely ecosystem, as well as an orchid garden, and an area with tiny poisonous frogs. It was an unforgettable experience and very much worth the cost. I highly recommend this company!

I had a great time on a two day trek of the Camino Real. Our guide Ismael was local and very knowledgeable and supportive, and he hosted us at his home so we got to meet his wonderful family. They were great hosts and it was a cool experience to eat with them and stay in their home. The jungle was beautiful but definitely hot and humid so bring plenty of water, and it was neat to see the stone path built so long ago and imagine all the conquistadors and pirates who walked along the very same stones. Overall I would definitely rec this tour as a good way to get out of Panama City and explore the jungle and beautiful nature Panama has to offer!

My daughters and I booked the Monkey Island & Indigenous Village tour with New Leaf Panama Eco Tours and it did not disappoint! Our guide, Tereza picked us up from our hotel along with a few others that joined us on the tour. To start, she shared her fascinating history. She educated us on many things Panama along the way to the docks. Tereza is a wealth of knowledge! She provided great detail as to what to expect throughout the day along with valuable safety info. Once on the boat we stopped at 8 different islands to maximize our interaction with the monkeys. Terra is highly skilled and monkeys came into our boat for us to feed. We also saw birds, crocodiles, huge iguanas and 3 types of monkeys! Going into the indigenous village of the Wounaan people was a privilege. We learned so much and Tereza’s rapport with the people made all the difference. Their trust in her was obvious which I believe allowed them to feel comfortable sharing their life with us. All in all I 100% recommend this tour and will certainly book with New Leaf again.
