Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Kristina BJacksonville, FL46 contributionsMy friends and I stayed in an airbnb in Casco Viejo and it was the perfect area to stay in. All of the architecture was beautiful, and there were so many shops and restaurants to go to as well. A must see!Written 3 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Geo89_12Romeoville, IL509 contributionsWe took an evening stroll along the waterfront every evening, great place to take in the beauty of Panama. They also have dedicated bike paths for those who ride bikes.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew M7,589 contributionsThis Avenue represents the area in Panama City which maintained a division between the Canal Zone and the City. There is quite a bit of street art on the avenue which illustrates Panama's struggle for sovereignty. Most of this art can be found at the intersection with C Gorgas, where there are a few storyboards. Tourists are rarely seen on this avenue, as the sidewalks are narrow with missing man hole covers and it is also an area with homeless persons. If you don't mind being a bit uncomfortable, the art and monuments on this avenue are quite interesting.Written 14 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
